The Hyatt Place Denver Downtown offers a convenient and reliable base for exploring Denver, with positive feedback on its location and cleanliness. While generally well-received, guests have noted concerns regarding inconsistent service, parking costs, and occasional issues with room amenities, particularly air conditioning and elevator availability. Overall, it’s a dependable option for short stays, though some improvements could enhance the experience.

I had a good stay at the Hyatt Place Denver Downtown. The location is really convenient and made getting around the city easy, especially for work and nearby attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a solid layout and everything you need for a short stay. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely reliable and practical. Overall a dependable option in Denver. Good value, good location, and a comfortable place to rest after a long day. I would stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place Downtown Denver and couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and courteous. Everyone we interacted with went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, which really made the stay feel personal and stress-free. Housekeeping also did an excellent job. Our room was spotless every day—fresh linens, neatly organized, and very well maintained. It’s clear they take pride in their work. The complimentary breakfast was another highlight. There were plenty of tasty options to choose from each morning, and everything was fresh and well stocked. It was the perfect way to start our day before heading out to explore. On top of that, Denver itself is such a great place to visit. The city has an amazing vibe, and the people are genuinely friendly and welcoming. It really added to the overall experience.

Staying at that motel was super convenient for catching the hockey game. We could just walk right over to the ball arena without any hassle. Plus, the place itself was really clean. The staff there were also super friendly and helpful. Honestly, it made for a really pleasant and easy trip.

Location and shops can't be beat. Easily walkable and Valet service is great. Traveling wife my wife and kids and we were shocked at what was in the room when we opened the door. The ottoman clearly had male genitalia pressed onto it. Was pretty much impossible to miss so I don't understand how the cleaning staff didn't see it.

Had a great time celebrating the holidays at this hotel! The front desk staff were attentive and nice. The best part of the trip was probably our experience at the hotel bar in the evening with the bartender Erika… she was an amazing bartender and made our nights out so much fun! She was so attentive and friendly! The friendliest person we met on the trip!

Review correction. I had a fun cooking class at the Hyatt Place. The staff was awesome. The doorman opened the door for my group instead of needing to use the revolving door. Nice touch. The bar staff was great, order taken quickly.

Very nice hotel. The view from my room over the city was excellent. The room itself was very confortable and nicely planned out. I cannot fault the place. About 20 minutes walk from Union Station. Straight along Denver main street - 17th Street - to Glenarm Pl. Turn right and its 3 blocks ahead. In rush hour traffic it is quicker to walk than taking a taxi/driving.

The hotel was nice. It wasn’t fancy but it had what I needed. The bar was convenient and the staff was wonderful. When we checked in, we were early and I didn’t expect to get a room but, as always, just asked if a room was available. I was told the room was available but since check-in was at 4pm, I had to pay $35 to check in early. It was worth it to me to pay the $35. I hope it was worth it for the hotel for this review to get a 4 instead of a 5. It has been a courtesy at other hotel to just allow me to check in IF the room was available. I wasn’t trying to reserve an early check in or make the housekeeping staff do work faster to accommodate me.

Stay here for my birthday. Check in line was almost out the front door of probably about 15 people. So initial impression of hotel wasn’t stellar. The room was nice. Went outside for fresh air, then got stuck in back left elevator for about 10 minutes, had to press help button and use emergency call button in elevator. Came back at night and room AC didn’t work. I turned room to 60 before we left for the night and came back and nothing worked. The room so hot and uncomfortable. Also in front left elevator someone spilled drink and the mess was there when I checked out 4 hours later, nothing cleaned. I reported this to female at front desk at check out and she said she would make note and take care of it. However, hotel stating nothing was reported to hotel about these issues. Very upsetting.

There is no on-site parking, only an expensive valet service. The lobby looked nice, but the carpet in our looked quite gross, and the pullout bed was an absolute joke. You're better off sleeping on the couch itself. With breakfast and all the cleaners, it took one out of four elevators about 10-15 minutes to finally arrive. The elevators later just didn't ever arrive, although you could hear them moving around. We ended up walking down 11 floors holding two kids and luggages. I put the do-not-disturb sign on our door, but still someone came into our room and, oddly enough, only made the bed (towels and garbage were as we left them). Everyone who worked there were nice enough. Breakfast was alright, but the way everything was positioned was a complete cluster. No one knew where the line started, so everyone just kind of went everywhere. Rowdy loiters near the entrance were unpleasant and dangerous to walk past, as they would chasing each other and zip around on scooters on the sidewalk for fun. One of them nearly hit my wife with a scooter while she was holding one of our children. I probably wouldn't book here again unless I was by myself and maybe desperate for a place to stay. At that point, I'd take my chances with an Airbnb.
