This hotel, just as in its location, is spectacular. We were first met by Elroy (valet) in turning our car over for parking in a very congested downtown area. For the remainder of our stay Elroy took great care of us in shuttling a very large SUV back and forth, always sharing his cheerful spirit. Our next interaction was with Matt upon checkin, and again...amazing. Matt made us feel like we were staying at his house, simply amazing personality. The Crawford is great!!

- on the 4th floor but there’s only one tiny window so it felt like a cozy attic. not bad due to decor but basically no sunlight. - wifi randomly drops and while it isn’t terribly slow it’s not speedy either - thinnest 2 ply toilet paper i’ve ever seen - no bathroom slippers:( - pigtrain coffee is really great!

Just a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Great service, well trained and super efficient staff with wonderful rooms that were well appointed and super clean. A shout out to Katrina who handed an unfortunate experience with an extremely rude chef from the Mercantile restaurant. She handed the situation with aplomb and professionalism and is a real ambassador to this great hotel. Thank you. We will be back.

The hotel rooms are each unique and amazing in their own way. The hotel is in the Historic Union Station and if you are able to take a tour during your stay, I would highly recommend it. We have been to Union Station several times and it's a really interesting building, but Jim (our tour guide) was beyond impressive!!! He was super knowledgeable and it made our stay even better having learned all the history. Even if you aren't staying at the hotel itself, drop by and experience Jim's hospitality. It will give you a different appreciation for how hard Denver and its' local businesses are working to create unique spaces like this!!

We just finished our 5-night stay at the Crawford and it was fantastic! The staff were super friendly, they chatted with us when we arrived, offered drinks, and informed us about all of the perks of staying there. The hotel is beautiful! The rooms are all on the top floors of the historic Union Station which made it incredibly easy to travel around since it is literally the main train station in Denver. They also offer complimentary uber/lyft rides within a 2 mile radius which we used to grab and return a rental car. The room cleanliness was well above average, they tend the bed, take out the trash, replace towels, and leave bottles of water everyday. The bottom floor is full of shops, and one of them gives a free cup of coffee to guests everyday. The breakfast restaurant in Union station called the Snooze was INCREDIBLE and a huge lifesaver since it was the only place in Denver we found that had consistently good breakfast. The large amount of security on the grounds made us feel really safe too. The ONLY downside I can possibly think of is that our particular room faced the train tracks and at night you can hear the train noises but we didn’t mind because we aren’t light sleepers but if you are a light sleeper that might be a major problem. Besides that we would 100000% recommend staying there!

Nestled inside Denver Union Station, you’re quite literally in the action, if you’re staying here. Bookstore? Next door. Coffee? Steps away. The wallpaper is dramatic (the good kind), the ceilings are wonderfully high, and the views of the station below make you feel like you’re part of a classic travel film – minus the noise. I woke up to sight of trains arriving and people bustling about, all without the soundtrack. There were free drinks in the room, and a clothing steamer. For someone like me who considers creases a personal insult, that was a gift. The housekeeping staff thoughtfully left extra bottles of water, so we were fully hydrated for all our touristy adventures. Two showers felt quirky, and the bath is spacious. The light fixtures in the room deserve their own close-up. And the extra throw casually draped for cozying up made the stay feel intentional rather than transactional. We were allowed to check in early, which was wonderful! Giving four stars instead of five because there was a mix-up with the valet service on the day we left. We were told our car was ready, but it wasn’t. We ended up losing some time because of the confusion. However, it’s not a deterrent – I would absolutely return!

We booked this hotel specifically because it participates in American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts. We frequently stay within this program and expect a consistent level of professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this property did not meet that standard. At check-in, the associate assisting us was not welcoming and did not review any of the Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits. When I asked about the welcome cocktail and potential room upgrades, the responses felt dismissive. I had reviewed availability prior to arrival and was simply asking for clarification, yet the interaction felt more like we were being shut down than helped. It was only when another team member stepped in — offering a glass of wine and looking into upgrade options — that the experience began to resemble what one would expect from a property in this category. Later that evening, we called room service at 9:45 p.m. to order dessert and a bottle of champagne. We were told the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and that our order could not be accommodated, despite room service hours being listed until 10:00 p.m. When I pointed out that we were calling within the stated service window, we were still refused. If service ends at 10:00 p.m., guests should reasonably expect to be able to place an order before then. Fine Hotels & Resorts properties are expected to deliver five-star service. Based on our experience, this hotel did not. We will return to the Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton in Denver in the future, where the service consistently aligns with the level promised.

I wouldn’t stay again . Terrible nights sleep. The good; the hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are restored beautifully and the vibe of the reception area cannot be beat. The beds were comfy. The coffee was great. The staff in the Cooper were great. The NOT SO GOOD; We were right by the bar area and I knew before the night started it would be a problem with the noise. We asked the front desk they said it’s never a problem, suggested the ear plugs and offered to move us but stated they’d put us on the street and the noise would be worse there so we opted to stay in the room we were assigned. The whole night there was a noise like a door clicking shut every 5-10 minutes. People were leaving the bar and using the area in front of our room to chat before heading out. We stayed here because we wanted easy access to the train to the airport because we were leaving so early but I didn’t expect that to mean we would be up all night. Overall, I was disappointed for a 5 star hotel at the price point. I’d choose differently next time.

My stay was beyond amazing. The rooms, service and location were more than expected. The building and the union station terminal areas are incredible. The food and drink options were top notch. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating. Matt especially went above and beyond with helping me store my bags after i had checked out and before i left for the airport. Next time im in town i am only going to stay at The Crawford. Thank you for an amazing stay

We decided to do a "date weekend" at the Crawford and had a blast! Location was great and the hotel itself was great. Upstairs bar was wonderful. Room was very clean and felt "luxurious". The whole experience, from checking in all the way to getting our car from the valet, was wonderful. Elroy, the valet, was very professional and a blast to talk to. We will definitely be back.
