Le Méridien Denver Downtown consistently receives positive feedback for its location, friendly and attentive staff, and upscale amenities, particularly the rooftop bar and restaurant. However, recent reviews highlight issues with room cleanliness, potential overpricing, and inconsistencies with included fees and view accuracy.
The hotel itself was nice, and the rooms were comfortable, with the exception of a random smell that would come and go. That said, I’m writing this review primarily to acknowledge the incredible courtesy of the staff. I truly did not encounter a single staff member who wasn’t extremely friendly, but I want to specifically recognize Justin. He went above and beyond, was incredibly warm and welcoming, and is exactly the kind of person leadership should know is making guests’ experiences memorable in the best way. His service stood out enough that I made a point to write this review.
TV never worked, no reception regardless of time of day. Here three days and worked a quarter of the time. Called maintenance and they shrugged their shoulders and said no reception due to hotel location??? Forget watching a show or movie because it will black out for longer than 30 minutes. And of course, the last night was The Grammy Awards. Pics attached. Deal breaker for me. This is a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. Asked for change at bar on a $20 bill for valet. Got in car and noticed short $2. Guess they tipped themselves. All in all, not a good experience. Shame because hotel very clean, centrally located to downtown and convention center. Here for a medical conference and great meeting rooms and food. Valet parking $65/d + tip. Nowhere close to self park.
So I always take time if I leave a review and I’m not thrilled with the outcome. Just to ensure I’m fair. I stayed the 23rd thru the 26th and this is my opinion I paid extra for a “city view”. My view was the hotel across the street. There was no city in the view. Just call it a street view and be clear in what people are paying extra for. I was exciting to see the city not a hotel and a parking lot. After walking around the city it was very clear I got scammed with the view I paid for. So if you are looking for a city view be sure to see the room before you check in or ask the direction it is facing. Second. The check in was great the two ladies working the shift of the 23rd were very kind and extremely professional! Everyone always greeted you when you walked in and the valet service crew always opened the doors and greeted you right away. They take the 4-5 rule serious and I appreciate that Third. Food and Beverage. I did order room service one day. The delivery was great. Very kind and friendly. The food was ok nothing over the top. The biscuits were slightly disappointing and the sandwich I had was solid over all for food and beverage Food-7/10 Service 10/10 Over all the room was not worth the price point. The tv in the room is a headache to use the bed was ok. The room in general is very small. So if you’re a couple just know you have no space and will be all over each other. 7/10 overall.
Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Convenient location, lovely lobby, amenities and superb restaurant downstairs. The rooftop bar is a must. It is exceptional with a beautiful view and great cocktails. Don’t miss it if you stay here. Special shout out to Mar and Summer for making our stay so fab.
Lots of potential, but a miss. I’ve had 52 nights in Marriott properties this year, about 25 in non- Marriott, so I feel I know what to expect. Booked “deluxe room with skyline views.” Spent 3 nights (December 13-16, 2025). My view was of a parking lot with Rick’s gentlemen’s club just beyond the lot. Found lots of hairs in the restroom/sink/shower areas when I examined room. Engaged with the front desk staff 3 times. Once helpful and friendly, twice cold and rude. Went to rooftop bar (54thirty) 4 days in a row. Each day at least one signature drink wasn’t available, but this was three different drinks, not the same one each day. Ate in the lobby restaurant 4 different times. Very impressive staff and great service in lobby restaurant. Location of hotel, and room appointments were good. Staff and front desk and rooftop bar unimpressive. Room should have been free of hairs in 3 different areas but wasn’t. Used my lint roller to clean them up. Don’t recommend this property.
I stayed at the hotel for three nights. Check-in was very fast and easy, and check-out was just as smooth. Although the hotel is busy with a high guest turnover, there is no sense of chaos. The lobby areas are spacious, and the elevators are sufficient, with almost no waiting time. The rooms are designed in a minimalist style, which makes placing and organizing personal belongings a bit difficult. The towels are quite old, and the rooms do not provide slippers, shoe-care kits, sewing kits, shaving kits, or dental kits. Housekeeping is regular; however, bed linens are changed only every two or three days. Breakfast was the highlight of the hotel for me. The open buffet offers a wide variety of high-quality and tasty options, making it a very enjoyable breakfast experience. The hotel is also well located, with many markets, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance. Despite some positive aspects, in terms of accommodation services the hotel is average and more in line with a three-star standard.
Staying at Le Méridien Denver is always a highlight of my trips to Denver. The moment you walk through the doors, you feel welcomed and a sense of calm. The staff consistently goes above and beyond—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. The rooms are spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that make each stay feel special. I love the Illy espresso machines in each room. On this visit, I had breakfast at their restaurant Corinne, and the eggs benedict was incredible—perfectly prepared and one of the best I’ve had anywhere. I also love the rooftop lounge; the views are unbeatable and it’s the perfect place to unwind in the evening. The location is another major plus—easy access to great restaurants, shopping, and downtown attractions. Every visit reminds me why this is one of my favorite hotels anywhere. Exceptional service, beautiful spaces, and a consistently top-notch experience. Highly recommend!
It was nice and clean. Maybe a little overpriced for what it was, but still nice. Our king size room was compact. Luckily we were just there for the one night to meet up with friends. But if I had been here on a business trip, it would have been inconvenient given the small size of the desk. Either way we had a good time. The service was great. The valet was nice and convenient. We will probably be back, if anything for the rooftop bar alone
I cannot express how grateful and thankful I am for Kassie Elmore. She went above and beyond for my group meeting this past week. She kept me updated daily, I was not on site, and she checked in with my team and ensured nothing was needed and that all was going smoothly. I wish we had more Kassies! She also connected me with Megan Moss who was great in supplying a whiteboard for my team to use. Overall it was amazing! Truly! Thank you ladies for the patience and great communication! You can really tell when someone isn't just great at what they do but they love it as well! Will always come back to you when in Denver and will recommend to all!
My stay was just one night as I had to attend a dinner in downtown Denver. Check-in and check-out was so fast and efficient! The lobby is small but I found the staff to be so efficient on checking guests in, the lobby is very welcoming and have many spaces available for you to work on your laptop, have a drink/coffee, etc. The rooms are small, just like any hotel in big cities, but are very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The room was super clean and it had a comfy bed. The hotel is located in a great location, walking distance of everything and not too far from the airport. They have an awesome rooftop bar with amazing views of the city. Overall, even though I only spent one night here, I really enjoyed my stay at Le Méridien!
