Le Méridien Denver Downtown receives generally positive feedback, particularly regarding its location, rooftop bar, and attentive service. However, recent reviews highlight issues with room cleanliness, outdated amenities, and a perceived lack of value for the price, along with concerns about the destination fee and occasional staff inconsistencies. Despite these drawbacks, many guests praise the hotel’s ambiance and the quality of its dining options.
$350+ for a night and no free parking is actually crazy. Room was basic like any $100 a night hotel, and I read other reviews that the rooms weren't clean and we also found hair on the floor, shower wasnt clean, pillows fall flat when sleeping and a stained couch. The rooftop bar is cute, but very small. I do not recommend this hotel, I feel like you get more out of Holidy Inn.
This place was top notch and I loved staying here. Beautiful clean luxurious rooms and building. The staff was over the top serving you and accommodating to your every need without being overly annoying. I would highly encourage and recommend the beautiful Roof Top bar for corporate parties and to unwind for a drink. I can’t say enough about this experience. From ball rooms to business meetings corporate gatherings this is the place to stay.
Marissa from the front desk was was a dream! She took great care of me. I was extremely impressed with her and her kind heart. The young men in front of the hotel were very good, and extremely helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, as well as the server. Would love to stay again!
Stayed at Le Méridien Denver Downtown and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and in a perfect downtown location. The restaurant inside was excellent — great food and atmosphere — and the rooftop bar was definitely a highlight with an awesome vibe and views of the city. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and I would absolutely come back.
I don’t write reviews often, however I wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service provided by one of your housekeepers, Fabiola, during my recent stay. She went above and beyond to ensure my room was not only impeccably clean, but also comfortable and welcoming. What stood out most was her attentiveness — she checked in to make sure I had everything I needed and took the extra steps to ensure my stay was as pleasant as possible. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care did not go unnoticed. It’s clear she takes great pride in her work, and she made a lasting impression on my overall experience. Please extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to her. Team members like this truly elevate the guest experience!
We recently hosted our company conference at this hotel and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The property was beautiful, very well kept, and in a great location. The food was excellent, the service was consistently attentive, and everything felt well organized and seamless throughout our event. A special shoutout to Dawn, our event manager, who was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, proactive, organized, and always one step ahead. She brought great ideas to the table and made the entire planning process so much easier. Also, Teddy, the back-of-house event manager, was wonderful to work with. She was super responsive, helpful, and attentive behind the scenes, her team was always willing to jump in with last minute requests. One thing we especially appreciated: some of our attendees had rooms near the elevator, and despite that usually being a concern with noise, no one mentioned hearing the typical elevator dinging at all, which was a huge plus. Overall, this hotel was a great partner for our event, and we would absolutely host here again.
The hotel itself was nice, and the rooms were comfortable, with the exception of a random smell that would come and go. That said, I’m writing this review primarily to acknowledge the incredible courtesy of the staff. I truly did not encounter a single staff member who wasn’t extremely friendly, but I want to specifically recognize Justin. He went above and beyond, was incredibly warm and welcoming, and is exactly the kind of person leadership should know is making guests’ experiences memorable in the best way. His service stood out enough that I made a point to write this review.
TV never worked, no reception regardless of time of day. Here three days and worked a quarter of the time. Called maintenance and they shrugged their shoulders and said no reception due to hotel location??? Forget watching a show or movie because it will black out for longer than 30 minutes. And of course, the last night was The Grammy Awards. Pics attached. Deal breaker for me. This is a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. Asked for change at bar on a $20 bill for valet. Got in car and noticed short $2. Guess they tipped themselves. All in all, not a good experience. Shame because hotel very clean, centrally located to downtown and convention center. Here for a medical conference and great meeting rooms and food. Valet parking $65/d + tip. Nowhere close to self park.
So I always take time if I leave a review and I’m not thrilled with the outcome. Just to ensure I’m fair. I stayed the 23rd thru the 26th and this is my opinion I paid extra for a “city view”. My view was the hotel across the street. There was no city in the view. Just call it a street view and be clear in what people are paying extra for. I was exciting to see the city not a hotel and a parking lot. After walking around the city it was very clear I got scammed with the view I paid for. So if you are looking for a city view be sure to see the room before you check in or ask the direction it is facing. Second. The check in was great the two ladies working the shift of the 23rd were very kind and extremely professional! Everyone always greeted you when you walked in and the valet service crew always opened the doors and greeted you right away. They take the 4-5 rule serious and I appreciate that Third. Food and Beverage. I did order room service one day. The delivery was great. Very kind and friendly. The food was ok nothing over the top. The biscuits were slightly disappointing and the sandwich I had was solid over all for food and beverage Food-7/10 Service 10/10 Over all the room was not worth the price point. The tv in the room is a headache to use the bed was ok. The room in general is very small. So if you’re a couple just know you have no space and will be all over each other. 7/10 overall.
Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Convenient location, lovely lobby, amenities and superb restaurant downstairs. The rooftop bar is a must. It is exceptional with a beautiful view and great cocktails. Don’t miss it if you stay here. Special shout out to Mar and Summer for making our stay so fab.
