The Grand Hyatt Denver consistently receives positive feedback for its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location, particularly praised for its friendly and accommodating staff. While some recent reviews mention minor maintenance issues and higher-than-expected breakfast costs, the overall experience is described as welcoming and enjoyable.
Very nice location, city views from the room were great. We were able to park right next to the hotel on a Saturday night(Sunday is free). We can run on the top of one of the buildings which is unique experience :)
We spent three nights - very comfortable room, clean, incredibly soft towels. Special mention to friendly and efficient staff. I forgot my purse in the restaurant with important documents and money. I was going crazy but Antonio, working at the restaurant that night, kept the purse for me, safe and sound. This speaks volume about the staff and the hotel.
Not thrilled with the housekeeper that removed the water bottles I was saving to refill for The Rest of My Stay, and that threw out my tea bags I was going to reuse (strong brand) because I didn’t like the 1, repeat ONE flavor provided. I also didn’t like that my medicine was moved and left upside down (can only be stored right side up, not sideways, and DEFINITELY NOT UPSIDE DOWN! Now I have to pay for more water and tea and Pray my medicine was not ruined.
This historic hotel is absolutely stunning. The architecture has been beautifully preserved, and the lobby feels like stepping back in time. However, the rooms have all the modern amenities you’d expect—fast Wi-Fi, plenty of USB ports, and a smart TV. A unique and charming stay!
Truly one of the most consistent hotels out there. Always super welcoming, quiet, spotless, amazing breakfast buffet, excellent pool, easy self parking, and windows that open (not very far, but always welcome!). Nothing extravegant, but checks all the boxes every time. Stayed here 10+ times and every visit has been great!
The guy at the front desk used more eye contact than I would like, but he was professional and polite. All around, it was the first time in a while that I encountered so many great hotel employees. They managed to come across as sincere rather than "I'm being paid to be nice". I only asked for hot water and a small glass of milk alternative. The staff was so accommodating and prepared to go above and beyond for my simple request. The room was ok. I liked the view.
Really enjoyed our stay here! Service was great, room service was fast, and pretty quiet overall so I had a great night's sleep on the comfy bed + fluffy pillows ?? only con was breakfast buffet for 2 was $30+ fees. Food was good but not worth that price. About 15-20 min walk to Union Station so depending on the weather, totally doable.
Our stay at Grand Hyatt Denver was absolutely wonderful and easily one of the best Hyatt experiences our family has had. The property is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and everything felt effortless from start to finish. The staff truly went above and beyond by sharing helpful information proactively, communicating clearly when we arrived a day late, and making every interaction warm and welcoming. They made my son’s birthday incredibly special by decorating our room, providing a birthday cupcake, and surprising him with birthday treats during dining. The service, attention to detail, and kindness from the entire team really set this hotel apart. We are so grateful and can’t wait to return!
I was greeted upon arrival and checked in by Josh. He was incredibly welcoming, kind, and courteous. He made check in effortless and had outstanding customer service, which I greatly appreciate and value. Room was clean, quite, and neat. On-site parking appreciated. Only reason for 4/5 stars is for this price point, the enamel in the tub of the shower should not be chipping. Otherwise, great stay and I appreciate it!
This place truly felt like a blessing during our trip. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for four nights, and I can honestly say it made our vacation so much more special. From the moment we walked in, everything felt clean, calm, and welcoming. The room, bedsheets, carpet, bathroom — everything was spotless. You can really tell how much care they put into cleanliness, and that meant a lot to me. Traveling with three kids isn’t always easy, but the little thoughtful touches made such a big difference. The kids’ shampoo and lotion were so appreciated — it showed how much they think about families and comfort. I especially want to mention Myla from housekeeping. She was absolutely wonderful — kind, warm, and so dedicated to her work. Every time she cleaned our room, it felt brand new again. You could truly see the effort and pride she puts into what she does, and it honestly made us feel so cared for. I’m very particular about cleanliness, and this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff is professional, the hotel is beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere is just peaceful and welcoming. We are so grateful we chose to stay here. This will always be our home away from home whenever we visit Denver. ??
