Very accomidating staff. We went for a small business gathering and stayed for a week. The location is great as it was within walking distance to several fun things to do. The staff was amazing. I am in a wheelchair they greeted my at the curb took care of all my luggage made sure I had an ADA room with a wonderful bathtub that was super easy to get in and out of (I do not have the use of the lower half of my body) the front desk lady asked when I needed to head back to the airport so they could come get my luggage. They catered breakfast and lunch for us each day the food was better than expected.

The building is old . The room smelled a little funny. The staff were excellent tho and very accommodating. It’s a prime location for a lot of things downtown. Overall I would definitely go back . The staff made it worth it for sure. Exceptional service. They let me check in at 11 am so I could go to the broncos game .

I had a great stay here! I think what really made my stay was the front desk worker Eddie. I arrived early from my flight & had been sick all night so really needed to rest. He was extremely accommodating, friendly, & helpful. That’s not something I experience at everything hotel. Eddie made my stay feel much more easeful than expected, give this man a raise!! Haha The room was spacious & clean, coffee and tea served in the morning, and free water bottles. My only “complaint” would to ask the hotel to stop using plastic water bottles and find a more sustainable system. Overall it was a great stay & I will be back!!

First the good! This is a well maintained, old historic building style hotel. The’ve done a good job with maintenance and regular cleaning. There is a decent bar, restaurant and coffee shop on premise and you can walk to over 100 restaurants within 15 minutes. It’s a GREAT location! The finishes in the rooms are a bit like what modern furniture looked like in 1970. Very comfortable and well built but a unique style. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. We were in a suite of 700 sq ft and it was well appointed. The service issue we experienced was what turned us off. We were scheduled for service for each morning of our 3 night stay. The first morning our room was serviced but they did not leave a back-up roll of toilet paper. The second morning we did not receive service which left us with no towels and no toilet paper. I let the front desk know as we were headed out to lunch and came back at 3pm to an unserviced room. I called the front desk for towels and TP and 90 mins later there was still no TP or towels. I called again to the front desk and after another 60 mins finally got our supplies. So, great location, decent facilities but poor customer care.

We had a wonderful stay at the Magnolia Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great downtown location, but what truly stood out was the staff. A special mention to Samantha at the front desk she was the nicest, sweetest, and most genuinely helpful person we interacted with during our stay. From the moment we checked in, she made us feel so welcome. She was patient, kind, and went out of her way to help us with everything we needed, always with a warm smile. Her positive energy honestly made our experience so much better. The hotel itself is cozy and well maintained, and the little touches like the evening cookies and milk are such a nice bonus after a long day. Overall, a great stay made even better by exceptional service.

We booked three rooms over the Thanksgiving holiday to stay with family members from out of state. Matthew helped us with the booking getting our rooms close together on the same floor. There were a few issues with the one room (light burnt out and a shade that did not open). The Magnolia resolved these quickly. Other than that we found that Harry’s was very convenient during the holiday when other places were closed. Christian served us several times over the long weekend and mixed up great drinks and was a really professional bartender. The hotel is simple in layout and is not extravagant like some of the top end Marriott properties, but it is bespoke, with a subtle touch of elegance. Matthew acknowledged our BonVoy Platinum status and arranged for high ceiling rooms on the 11th floor. Great view of the downtown and the King one bedroom suite with living room and kitchen served as a central gathering place for our family in the evenings. The apartment style layout had enough space for six people to relax together, a table large enough to do a puzzle on and a kitchenette that was really useful. Matthew, thanks again for going the extra mile to make our stay wonderful. We’ve really enjoyed staying at the Magnolia and would book here again without hesitation.

Excellent location for the newly opened and updated 16th Street (Mall). Warm and welcoming staff and quick check-in. We stayed in a fireplace suite and it was large and spacious although missing some bottom trim boards around the base of the kitchen area which is why I gave the four star review - easily resolved and would remove the eye sore spot. Otherwise the room was fine. Plenty of in-hotel restaurant options as well as numerous restaurants within walking distance. We took our dog and she was both welcomed and provided with 2 clean bowls for our visit. Quiet and comfortable in the heart of Denver - what could be better? (Oh, get the 8 pm cookies in the lobby - yummy!)

OK, so this hotel is beautiful. A very nice historic building. Great customer service. Aesthetically very pleasing. The rooms are nice as well however, as you could see in the photos that I’m posting when you are laying in your bed, you’re 200 feet away from your TV. They really should’ve put the couch against the wall and put an entertainment center of some sort in the center of the room so when you’re laying in bed, you can watch TV comfortably. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel. I’m more of a modern hotel guy, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise.

Whenever anyone asks where to stay in Denver, I will always mention the Magnolia Hotel. I had a scary experience with another guest that the hotel staff handled so professionally. Because of someone's intuition and safety protocols put in place, their team was able to prevent someone from wrongfully entering my room to cause me harm. Roseanna took precautionary actions that could have saved my life. And I am very grateful to this team for that. While eating dinner at the lobby bar, a man sat next to me and began talking to me. Being friendly, I engaged in conversation, which he felt was an action of sexual interest. This man attempted to follow me to my room, coarsed me into texting him in front of him so he had my number, and proceeded to call me multiple times and send me multiple unwanted sexual messages. I finally shoo'd him away in the elevator and exited on the wrong floor on purpose to get him away from me. I blocked his number, and I thought that if I just avoided him, that would be the end of it. I woke up when the phone in my room rang at around 230am. Rosanna, the hotel concierge, called me to see if I was okay and to tell me that a man claimed to be my husband and wanted a key to my room, but he couldn't remember the room number. This sent chills down my spine. Rosanna didn't give him a key, didn't tell him my room number, and called me to make sure that I was okay. After I explained that this man was creepy and scary, she put an alert on my profile so that staff during other shifts knew, and said that if he attempted anything again, they would call the cops. I cannot express how grateful I am for Roseanna. There is a reason that hotels want you to put down the name of all guests in a room, and that is for your safety. Had someone not followed thst protocol, not used their instincts, not followed up by calling me and just gave him a key .... that couldve led to a very dangerous situation for me. Thank you, Roseanna. It is that kind of compassion and professionalism that makes tourists feel safe in your city. Thank you so so much.

Location wise, the hotel can't be beat. I was willing to overlook the exorbitant valet price ($64) after reading the rave reviews about the customer service. However, the level of customer service was subpar and more akin to a two star hotel. The AM valet was the best though; he was way better than any of the front desk staff that I interacted with. It would also be nice to have actual drink ware rather than paper and plastic cups since it is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. This was probably my least favorite Marriott that I have been to.
