The AC Hotel Denver generally receives positive feedback, highlighted by clean rooms, convenient downtown location, and friendly staff. Recent reviews commend the helpfulness of service staff, particularly bartenders like Giorgio, and the hotel's modern aesthetic. However, concerns regarding room size, lack of storage, and inconsistent happy hour service have been raised, alongside instances of issues with phone functionality and delayed housekeeping.
This hotel is modern, clean and conveniently located to many restaurants and shops. During my visit I had a minor issue with the TV and Aaron was very helpful and prompt with my maintenance issue and corrected it right away. His quick response and helpful demeanor left a lasting impression. Thank him on my behalf.
This was amazing stay for my best friends birthday. Staff was amazing and they sent up a complimentary bottle of prosecco and macaroons ?? Was right across the street from Ruth Chris’(where we went to dinner) and then half a block away from Union 1(cocktail bar we went to). Everything was amazing and would definitely stay here again
I don't even know where to start off! Our stay at the AC Marriott was nothing short of exceptional. We got the 16th floor corner room and the view was beautiful. The front desk staff was amazing and super helpful with information. We had breakfast for free just because we waited a little longer for our room to be ready! Not only that but they also helped with a secret proposal that my fiancée planned. They sent chocolate covered strawberries to our room and champagne as well as a hand written "Congratulations" letter. I had the best time and the most memorable moment. Thank you to the staff, you do not know how special you made our stay!
This AC Hotel in Denver is one of the nicer instances of this Marriott chain that I've experienced. Decent location, tons of food/drink options, and great service. Did not love how the bathroom was setup with no walls in our room, but I did appreciate the fully enclosed shower and water closet. Would stay here again.
Normally, my experience at Marriott hotels is outstanding. As a GOLD ELITE Bonvoy member, my experience is usually very positive The AC hotel in Downtown Denver, Colorado is terrible. The rooms are incredibly small. Unless you are alone, I cannot see how two people could stay in this room and have any privacy while they shower or go to the restroom. However, that is the least of my complaints. Not having heat in your hotel room during the month of January is unacceptable. I tried to call the front desk when I realized there was an issue, but the phone in the room did not work. I’m a person that is always cold… Having a room below 70° and not being able to adjust the temperature is not acceptable. To make matters worse, after being at a conference all day, I returned to my room to find that housekeeping never came to clean the room or deliver fresh towels. Every hotel chain offers a similar experience. For a nightly rate you get it clean, comfortable room with at least minimal conveniences. The customer experience and service are what makes your brand or hotel successful. The AC hotel failed miserably on both my experience and the service they provided me
Vincent was our server, he was patient and his service was like reading our minds. He basically did everything we didn’t even need to ask, he went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Of course the food was also excellent! The croissant was excellent! Steak and egg was also excellent. Everything was done to perfection. Pancakes were amazing.!!! Everything he recommended was amazing and I really don’t understand how this restaurant has four star review. It should have five.
Jayme was an incredible server and truly elevated our experience at Corinne. Her menu recommendations were spot-on and absolutely delicious. She struck the perfect balance of being attentive without ever feeling overbearing, which made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. On top of that, she took the time to share helpful tips and recommendations for our trip, which we really appreciated. Her warm, pleasant demeanor added so much to our dinner and made the experience memorable. 10/10 would recommend
My husband and I travel a lot, in the states and international. First off the room was clean and there were a few items that hotels have started to remove, ie shower cap and body lotion from the rooms. The most important thing I was pleasantly surprised by was, wait for it… they made up the room and put fresh towels in the room, daily “AND” as part of their normal service! Shocker I didn’t have to beg for clean towels. I have seen more and more hotels remove this simple service that is definitely included in your nightly stay. I hope more Marriott hotels take note of this thing that makes customers happy and feel that they received the level of service that they paid for. Speaking of service…service started with the valet, the front desk, the servers in the restaurant, also super yummy, to the servers at the roof top bar. Everything about our stay was perfect and I do not take this lightly, which is why I happy to provide a great review, when so many are too quick to leave negative reviews and not let the hotel know when they and their entire staff did a phenomenal job. I would definitely stay here again!
Extremely friendly, helpful, service- oriented staff. They make you feel special, not like you’re an annoyance, as I have experienced at many hotels across the country. Giorgio, in particular, is a Star. He’s the bartender at the AC bar. Very personable and professional- a great conversationalist. He loves to make you a unique cocktail that will delight your senses!
A great location, comfy beds, nice views, and good front-desk staff. However, the rooms are impractical and poorly maintained, and the promised "happy hour" didn't seem to actually exist. The rooms have no drawers, not enough shelves to compensate, no luggage stand, and not enough hooks / towel bars in the bath. Our room also had blank walls; the only art was above the toilet. I like modern, minimal spaces, but this is minimal gone way too far. There are simply no places to put things! And who asked for a square toilet? And you can't open the shower door while someone is using the sink. I swear whoever designed these rooms was drunk. Also, in our room, the indirect lights and blinds were broken (I fixed both myself) and our TV remote didn't work (it was replaced with a working one). Finally, we were looking forward to the advertised daily happy hour from 5 to 7. But every time we checked (several times over three days), there was no bartender present. So essentially, there is no happy hour. The rooftop bar is lovely and has good drinks, but it's technically in the other hotel (Le Méridien); it's also very pricey and has unnecessarily intimidating, aggressive security at night. We did very much like the fancy restaurant (Corinne) in the other hotel (Le Méridien).
