The hotel features an inviting atmosphere ideal for business and leisure travelers alike.
The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Cherry Creek offers a generally pleasant stay with good location and friendly service, particularly highlighted by staff members like Tre James. However, recurring concerns include issues with cleanliness, inconsistent housekeeping, and unexpected fees, alongside outdated amenities and potential pest problems. Recent reviews indicate a mixed experience, suggesting the hotel may not consistently meet expectations despite positive interactions.
Nice vibes – we would stay here again. Beautiful Views of the City & Rockies! Super nice staff. Stately traditional high-rise in fantastic location with modern touches such as recycling bins, shower product dispensers, and restaurant with lots of great food and coffee. Three elevators (yay!) Rooms are carpeted with microwaves and mini fridge. We had a shower only – no tub. Our room could have used more electrical outlets near the bed & lacked a luggage stand. Hotel parking was $15/night & required keying a credit card into their parking app.
I made a reservation here at the last minute and was welcomed and found a reservation easily. I was very upset and tired when I arrived after a very rough day. The receptionist was nice but it was the desk supervisor, Tre James, that made all the difference in the world to me. He was compassionate and caring and so helpful. At one point I couldn't keep it together and he just handled everything so respectfully and kind. I can't thank him enough and would highly recommend staying at this very nice hotel. The added benefit of having a restaurant and Starbucks right there is beyond helpful especially when you're a bit stressed.
This is my second time staying here. The location and price is a much better deal than the tech center imo. I had a really messy reservation from a rushed trip that was a headache for the front desk but they all worked with me. The supervisor Tre was very understanding and patient with my complicated reservation and discount which they helped me sort out and honored. The restaraunt in the lobby is also solid for the price. Will return
Such a great place to stay! The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with everything necessary for comfort. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit. I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.
Stayed 4 nights and was told housekeeping would be every other day. It never happened and each time I checked with the front desk I was given a different excuse. That was an inconvenience - but was prompted the review was the management's approach to customer service. I was asked to write a good review and told them why I wouldn't. They offered to comp me 10K Marriott Bonvoy points. I said "yes" but it didn't happen so I filed a customer service feedback form with Marriott. Turns out they pass that to the hotel to address - and suddenly their willingness to compensate me for poor service vanished. They seem more concerned with reviews than actually doing their job.
Tre James is amazing. I had arrived to the hotel after a 14-hour nursing shift and 2-hour drive to Denver completely exhausted and a little cranky. I went down to the lobby to buy a bunch of junk food with the intentions of crawling into bed and throwing myself a pity party until falling asleep, but Tre completely changed my mood around. He was so kind and engaging making sure that I had everything I needed. I truly believe that he not only cares about every guest's experience but also just cares that they have a good day in general. His energy is extremely uplifting and the way he is able to multitask helping guests without making any of them feel unattended or forgotten is impressive. I went back to my room deciding I no longer needed a pity party, and that alone gets five stars from me. The rest of the room and hotel experience was good too. Comfy bed but the parking situation sucks.
While the staff were very friendly and professional, the overall experience was not something I would choose again. The room itself was a bit run down - especially for how much it cost. Furniture was coming apart: blanket was torn, desk edges were coming off, the chair was crumbling and covered in scratches... And everything was showing its age. The microwave was missing a leg and the turntable did not turn. The TV had a blue filter in the picture. Be very careful when booking a room! I learned the hard way that the discount for stays over 5 days is not applied automatically and cannot be applied retroactively. And now, I have come home to a carpet bug infestation from my luggage. Fortunately it's not too bad, and hopefully I stopped it from getting worse. But still, not a great impression.
Rundown property with tired, dirty rooms. Met by a friendly “pet” aka bug on the wall at the entrance to the room. Bathroom was tiny and dated. No water bottles in room as claimed on the website. The website also says outdoor parking under the amenities section and only in another section discloses that you get the privilege of paying $16 for an outdoor unsecured lot. What a joke. Gross property and terrible experience. Do not stay here.
First the staff was great however if it wasn’t for the outdoor scenery the inside needs a lot of work. The tub faucet was almost completely detached from the wall, the tub did not drain well, and no fan in the bathroom at all. We stayed on the 9th floor which had a foul odor that lingered in the wall for all 3 days we stayed. In the bar area, the booth seating had giant rips in almost all of the seats. Also, if you booked for the indoor pool and hot tub please know that the hot tub appears to be permanently closed. They need to update the information that this amenity is not available. Finally, the $15 per day parking should be included in the booking price.
This hotel is grossly overpriced and nickel and dimes you in every way. We were surprised at the $150/night pricing (which after taxes and fees came to over $181) but were willing to pay it. But then we were shocked that they charge you $16 for parking! What kind of hotel DOESN'T have free parking?? Kind of a scam for them not to include this in their pricing. Additionally, the front desk made sure we knew that we were not allowed to use the mini fridge in the room or there would be a charge. Again, since when is this something that's not included in a hotel stay?? Especially for $150 a night! They ensured we knew there was no free breakfast either. Seems like there's no benefit to staying here at all! To top it off, the fan in our bathroom didn't work, the covers on the bed were so starchy they felt like plastic, and the pillows were uncomfortable as well. This hotel is criminally overpriced and clearly doesn't appreciate their guests. We won't be back!
