The Aloft Denver International Airport offers a modern and tech-forward experience with amenities like a pool, fitness center, and shuttle service. Recent reviews highlight both exceptional staff service and some operational issues, including payment discrepancies and maintenance concerns. While generally positive, there are areas for potential improvement to maintain a consistently high standard.
The Aloft Denver Airport is chic, modern, and high-tech. My room was really nice, and the bed was super comfortable—I slept great and woke up to the sunrise shining into my room. The amenities are top tier, including a pool, fitness center, lounge areas, and a game space with a pool table. There’s plenty to do whether you’re staying overnight or have extra time before a flight. They also have a nice food selection, making it easy to grab a good bite without leaving the hotel. The hotel is about 9 miles from the airport, roughly a 15–20 minute ride, and the free shuttle runs every 30 minutes, which makes it very convenient. Definitely a great airport hotel option!
During my stay, there was an issue with the payment — my card was charged twice for the same booking. Please investigate why this happened and refund the extra charge. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.
A romantic getaway in an unlikely location. The interior is modern and clean. The rooms are actually built for couples and they're roomy. I will stay here again. I was satisfied.
I've stayed at this particular Aloft hotel in the past. I saw they just started the park and ride to DIA without having to stay at the hotel. The price was very reasonable, so decided to give it a try. This is not the whole story... When I returned from my trip early evening on December 03, it had been snowing all day. Needless to say, my car was covered in snow and ice. I didn't have a scraper, and the hotel loaned me one of theirs and the bartender also loaned me his personal scraper. I started cleaning off my car with both scrapers when Hector showed up and offered to help. He took one of my scrapers and stayed until the job was done. My wife tried to give him a tip and he refused my wife's multiple requests. I also stepped into a large ice puddle when cleaning off my car and soaked my tennis shoes. Thank goodness I had my luggage and swapped out my wet tennis shoes. Hector brought a hotel plastic bag for my socks and shoes. I have to say EVERYONE who were working that evening from the front desk, bartender (who loaned me his personal scraper), and Hector made a great impression on my and my wife. They even gave my wife and I a hot cup of coffee for the road. We certainly WILL be using Aloft's park and ride service again and again. Thank you so much for hiring the incredible staff you have!!!
Really a perfect location to DIA and local restaurants in walking distance if you want something different than what the hotel offers. The rooms are simple yet comfortable especially for a short stay. I think the shuttle driver isn't clear on where to drop off people for departure. She dropped us off in the pick up area so when you entered the airport you were in the baggage claim area.
I wanted to leave this review to show recognition to two ladies that work at the front desk. I’m currently a shuttle driver that started a few months ago and Taylor and Jules have really made a difference in not only my day, but others as well. Every time I have gone in and checked the lobby for passengers, those two ladies have ALWAYS had a positive attitude and been very professional. It’s people like them that make a difference in this world and I believe they are an asset to Aloft and deserve to be recognized. The energy they give out can fill a room with positive vibes and put a smile on anyone’s face. It’s been days when passengers would stress me out and just going in there talking to them for a minute or two changes my mood from being upset or stressed out, to leaving with a smile and forgetting all about what caused me to be stressed. To Taylor and Jules don’t ever change ??. You ladies deserve the world and I appreciate y’all ?!
It’s alright. The rooms are clean, and the lobby is cute. The staff is super friendly! When we checked in, we were told the bar and food service weren’t open that day and were advised to walk across the street to the full-service Marriott instead — immediate bummer. My digital key worked at first but then disappeared from my Bonvoy app, and the staff couldn’t get it to resend. I’ve stayed at Marriott properties around 25 nights this year and haven’t had that issue anywhere else. It’s a minor inconvenience, but it’s really nice to just use your phone — worth mentioning. Parking also feels a little shady. You’re not told how much you’ll be charged when you enter your credit card info in the app, and there’s no receipt. I only found out the cost when my credit card alert came through — that part was definitely irritating. Then it’s just the little things in the room that add up. No shelf in the shower, so your toiletries sit on the floor. The shower door doesn’t close fully, so the bathroom floods (a lot). A sign in the bathroom mentions an ironing board in a cabinet by the bed — there’s no cabinet. No pants hangers like most hotels, which makes it harder to steam clothes (though there is a steamer). Power outlets are under the nightstands, so you have to fish cables through a hole. And the toilet door is a weird barn-door setup that pushes outward and has a tiny handle inside that’s awkward enough to bend your fingernails back when you try to close it. Overall, fine for a quick stay, but definitely not up to the usual Marriott standard.
Overall a poor experience, front desk is great it is awesome that they have a breakfast option. However when it comes to the overall hotel and rooms it feels dirty and run down. The shower leak out of the shower pan and flood the bathroom floor, the tv's hardly work. The house keeping is poor, we stayed here for four days and not once did they clean the rooms.
By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Henda at the front desk was super nice and very accommodating! She really turned our trip around with her positive attitude and friendly service! I would definitely recommend staying here the next time southwest cancels your flight!
In a great location that is up-kept, not a run-down area. There are a lot of other hotels in the area.. we were able to find the best deal here. The service was great, and the room was clean (the bed was more on the firm side). Would recommend staying here!
