The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver offers a generally comfortable stay with convenient access to Denver attractions and the airport. While many guests appreciate the friendly staff, spacious rooms, and amenities like the complimentary cookie, recurring issues regarding inconsistent service at the front desk, room cleanliness concerns, and parking fees have been noted.
Outstanding service and great hotel. Extremely busy with large carpark but staff managed this really well. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and our infant, the rooms are extremely spacious, spotless and modern and the hotel amenities are great. It’s a bit of a trek from downtown but fantastic location if you have a car.
I’m currently staying at this hotel and unfortunately had a frustrating experience with the front desk that I feel others should be aware of. Before arriving, I checked in through the mobile app and even paid an extra $20 for a corner room upgrade. The app assigned me a room number, so I expected a smooth process when picking up my key. However, when I got to the front desk, I was given a key to a completely different room. I explained the situation to the first employee, but she didn’t seem to know how to handle it and made little effort to resolve the issue. I then spoke with another employee who seemed more familiar with how the app works, which made the initial interaction even more confusing. I was eventually told that the room assigned in the app was already occupied and that guests typically can’t check into rooms before arriving. This didn’t make much sense since I had already checked in through the app. The whole interaction took about ten minutes, and I felt like my concerns weren’t taken seriously. In the end, I was told the only available corner room was on the second floor. When I asked about a refund for the upgrade fee, I didn’t get a clear answer. It also felt like the employee was implying that I didn’t understand the situation, which added to my frustration. Overall, this experience made me feel unwelcome, especially since I’m still currently staying here. I hope management takes a closer look at how front desk issues like this are handled, because better communication and customer service would have made a big difference.
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver is a comfortable and well-located hotel that caters to both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are generally spacious, clean, and equipped with practical amenities such as work desks, comfortable beds, and reliable Wi-Fi, making it suitable for longer stays or work trips. Guests often appreciate the friendly staff and the signature warm chocolate chip cookie offered at check-in, which adds a welcoming touch to the experience. The hotel also features useful on-site amenities, including a fitness center, meeting spaces, a restaurant, and shuttle services in some cases, which add convenience for travelers. Its location provides relatively easy access to downtown Denver attractions, airports, and major highways. While some areas of the property may feel slightly dated depending on the room, the overall service and comfort remain solid. Overall, it is a dependable choice for a stay in Denver with good value and convenience.
We got here and the service was great! Shoutout to Charles who was working at the front desk, he was very professional, kind, and helpful. It was very packed when we got there and a bunch of kids were running around and being a little obnoxious. We got up to our room and there was hair in our shower and there was a drainage problem so at the end of my shower I was standing in a bath of water. We complained to the front desk afterward and the two women that were there were very unprofessional and condescending. They bantered back and forth about being supervisors and if they were able to do anything just to claim that they couldn’t do anything as far as accommodations go. We stayed in room 635, avoid it if you can!
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver is a decent hotel with a comfortable and convenient setup. The room was clean overall, and the staff was polite and helpful during the stay. The location worked well for getting around Denver, and the usual DoubleTree touches, like the cookies, are a nice bonus. Some parts of the hotel may feel a little dated, but it was still a comfortable stay. Overall, a solid option if you’re looking for a reliable hotel at a reasonable price.
Its great, everyone was very nice and accommodating. Clean, came thru with accomodations as needed. Room was great, signed into Netflix and enjoyed the TV. Could not hear the rooms next to me was incredible. Super comfy beds with all the pillows I asked for heck yeah a dream. Gym is spacious and always open with no broken equipment. Pool is large with good hours. Restaurant was tasty, enjoyed my drink. Oh and the complimentary cookie will keep me coming back hahah delicious cookie!! Warm melty super chocolate. Only cons, which were minor: $20/night for parking, hot tub too hot to use literally turned my partner into a lobster lol, the restaurants arent open all day everyday. Theres a gap where they dont serve food but eh plenty good shops nearby.
The stay got off to a rough start at check-in. The front desk staff member was unfriendly and disengaged, offering minimal information, she simply stated the total and handed over the keys. Check-out was just as unpleasant. This was the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel where every front desk interaction felt this unwelcoming. Service throughout the stay was inconsistent. We had dinner at the bar and waited a long time just to be acknowledged. We eventually had to walk up and place our order ourselves. The food took over an hour to arrive, and the pizza was overcooked. On a positive note, breakfast was excellent, and the morning staff were attentive and friendly. It appeared the hotel was understaffed, especially with a large event taking place. There were also maintenance issues, the shower did not drain properly, and the toilet handle was disconnected from the plunger upon arrival. The beds were smaller than expected. Overall, for the price, the level of service and accommodations did not meet expectations. Charging $20 per night for parking only added to the frustration.
A nice and clean hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. But this hotel is severely understaffed. For example, they have one lady serving the entire restaurant during breakfast time. I felt really bad for the poor lady who was running around frantically trying to serve all guests as best as she could. There’s also always only one person in the bar/restaurant area, which oddly doesn’t open until 4 pm. Very strange.
I stayed here for the first time and enjoyed my stay. The warm cookies at check-in was a very nice touch (especially when you’re tired and irritable)!! The front desk staff was very nice. I called to tell them I didn’t think the thermostat in my room was allowing my room to get warm enough and they sent maintenance RIGHT AWAY. You can communicate with them via text and they are very responsive which I appreciate!! The garlic parmesan wings from their sports bar were delicious too!! In regards to the rooms, they are nice and updated. The bed itself was very comfortable and I liked the pillows, linens, and comforter as well. Their coffee maker was easy to use. I got an amazing rate on my room and I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend! Thank you for an excellent stay! ??????????
The rooms are small and have no microwave. You have to pay extra for everything, parking, TV services, breakfast, ext. Pool is not heated however it is indoors. Plenty of elevators, but small it can fit 4 to 5 people. Service was good.
