Staying at the Capitol Hill Mansion was like stepping back in time but with all the modern comforts you could want. This 1891 ruby sandstone mansion is absolutely stunning and ideally located—just a short walk from the Colorado State Capitol and the Denver Art Museum. The historic architecture is preserved beautifully, making for a truly unique and formal B&B experience in the heart of Denver.

Perfect for a romantic getaway! Stunning historic building! The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and walkable. We saw a show at the Fillmore and felt safe walking there and back. Carl, the owner, was gracious and served an amazing breakfast! The egg souffle was just perfect & the coffee was excellent! We loved the whole experience and would definitely stay here again! ??

Amazing food and service. It's the perfect Denver location to get anywhere from downtown to Wash Park. Friendly knowledgeable staff. We will definitely stay again.

I chose the balcony room with a jetted soaking tub. It was the perfect getaway. Breakfast in the patio garden was even more amazing and tasted so yummy. Overall the experience and hospitality of Carl was the best.

What a delight of a b&b. I was only staying there one night to cover a gap in my conference hotel, but I wish I'd booked the whole stay here. Huge, adorable rooms with beautiful, solid wood furniture. The staff were so kind. When my flight got in early, I called to ask if I could access my room early for a shower and they bent over backwards to make it happen, and were so sweet about it along the way. Well worth any stay.

First experience, was wonderful experience, beautiful rooms and super clean, I even met the owner, he served delicious French press coffee locally made in Denver. Breakfest was wonderful.

My husband and I stayed here one night for a little getaway. This place is fabulous! We met the owner who was very hospitable. We were able to peek in on other rooms that were vacant and they were all lovely. Our night was topped off the next day with an absolutely delicious breakfast!

Too much bacon. Not really a good idea to serve bacon everyday. Need more healthy options for breakfast. The room I stayed in was awkward and dated. Not enough places to hang or store clothing and drawers were difficult to open. The room could use better curtains to block the light. The towel bar fell off the sink and the tub was dangerous to get in - need a step stool to get in and more grab bars. On the positive side the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the room and breakfast service was good. The host was accommodating, although he should keep his political views to himself.
