The Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Central Park generally receives positive reviews, particularly praising its friendly staff, hot breakfast, and comfortable rooms. However, recent feedback highlights issues with inconsistent service, outdated facilities, and a significant concern regarding pool closures without prior notification. Overall, it’s a decent option with strong morning service but requires attention to maintenance and communication.
Hilton Embassy Suites in Denver was a welcome treat after a long journey . Very clean, friendly staff, and the best pillows! The tailor made breakfast in the morning was the cherry on top. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Denver. The price was comparable to the rest of the hotels, which made it an easy choice as well
I've stayed at 100s of Embassy's and this was one of the best. The service was fantastic. The breakfast was always hot and made with a smile. Ask about the warm green chili sauce when you are getting your omelette!!! Pool, hot tub and sauna was a big hit for the family. Happy hour drinks and service was on point! The rooms were spacious. Could use a little updating based on the rest of the hotel. My only single complaint would be the bed could use a flip or a new one. We will definitely book this again when we come back.
For a Hilton, I was disappointed. Ive stayed my fair share and I've never had a bad night until now. The staff tried correcting issues but it was just one thing after another. The bathroom had hair all over the floor initially and the microwave was dirty with what I hope was just crusty cheese. One of the bath towels looked to have a fading red stain with a slight brown tint the way blood sometimes dries and fades. We did get additional towels and that was appreciated. However, we just started noticing more details. The sinks had trouble draining, the bath spout had a screw that was justting out over an inch, the caulking on the bath spout was also not sealed correctly. Those of which did not give me confidence that there wasn't a chance for mold already, and if not corrected there will be mold. The bathroom vent had no airflow (in either our room or our in-law's room) and the rod for the curtain was cockeyed in mounting. There's now was to tell if those won't cause mold issues as well. The experience was lacking as an event/other guests in the main attrium area kept my wife, toddler, and myself awake several hours into the night. It was loud, dirty, and an overall questionable experience. This was communicated to the front desk and they assured us we would be contacted by a supervisor to address the complaint. Two "guaranteed" contact times passed with no contact so we had to call and wait to eventually get through ourselves. Location wise, it was also difficult to not cough or gag with the heavy aroma of the Dispensary across the street. That is outside the hotel's control, they filter the smell out internally very well, but it is a concern for the location and surrounding area.
Update The general manager reached out and adjusted our room rate. I know they did not have to and I really appreciate it. We will be staying again soon! We were disappointed the pool was closed for maintenance! It's understandable that it is necessary from time to time, but it should be put on the website. I would have chosen a different property if I had known. It was not stated on the website, or on my confirmation email and not mentioned when we checked in. My grandson was all set to swim, only to find out it was closed as he got to the door of the pool. We live just a little more than an hour away, but decided to get a hotel room, mostly so my grandson could enjoy the pool. As far as he's concerned that's the only reason to stay in a hotel. I talked to the clerk on duty, but basically felt like it didn't concern him. I talked to the clerk on duty in the morning. I felt like she wanted to help and left a message for the manager about a rate adjustment. I did not hear anything back so called and left a voicemail on the manager's line. I still have not heard anything back from him. The room and evening reception were nice, and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I just wish we had known beforehand the pool was closed.
We had such a great time at Rocky Mountain Comicon this year! My boys absolutely loved it. The event had a really friendly, welcoming vibe, and it felt like such a safe, fun space for fans of all ages. There were so many vendors with unique collectibles, art, 3D printed figures, and rare Funko Pops. My kids were in heaven browsing and talking with everyone. The characters walking around (especially the Vader and trooper we kept running into!) were so kind and interactive with the kids. It made the whole experience feel special and memorable. One of my favorite things about this con is how personal it feels – it’s not overwhelming or commercialized. You can really explore at your own pace, talk to the artists, and just enjoy the atmosphere. The venue at the Embassy Suites was clean, comfortable, and easy to navigate. We were able to sit down, relax, and enjoy lunch without having to leave the con space, which was perfect. Overall, this was such a great family day. Affordable, thoughtful, and full of community. We’ll definitely be back next year!
I stayed at this hotel for my first ever visit to Colorado (stepdaughter birthday 10/30 and anniversary 10/31). The initial staff was pleasant and helpful, room was clean and housekeeping was very accommodating. On my anniversary 10/31 we decided to start the morning off with breakfast. The line cooks were amazing, and really helpful when my husband asked for sour cream for his veggie omelet. The problem came after breakfast. We ate downstairs and one of the housekeepers told me she would clear our trays so we left. I had purchased tickets (and costumes) for a haunted house later that night (my anniversary is Halloween of course) and left to get last minute things. The day progressed fine until I realized I didn't have my license. While retracing our steps, doing a deep search in our room we came up with nothing. My husband went down to the front desk to check there (around 7:35pm). The woman at the desk was dismissive and told him "I've been here all day, nobody brought anything to the desk". She never checked and just wrote us off. So I spent the rest of the evening panicking (We flew to Denver from Washington, DC and that was my only form of identification). We missed out on the haunted house because I needed valid ID to enter. The next morning 11/1 before checkout we asked the front desk again and this young lady (not the one we asked the night before) gave it to us. When we asked her when it had been turned in she said the previous morning. Prior to us asking the front desk the night before! We wasted $180 on something to celebrate our anniversary all because of someone's carelessness and unwillingness to do something as simple as checking a drawer! I could have been stranded in Colorado for something that would have taken seconds to check. This really dampened our experience because aside from this, I really enjoyed the hotel :(

I booked 2 nights here specifically to use their sauna. I called ahead to confirm it was working 1 day before, I was told yes it was. Then I checked in and asked again and was told it was working. I went to use it about 3 hours later and it had an out of order sign. The front desk staff seemed surprised when I told him and later informed me it would be out of order for my entire stay. No compensation of any kind was offered after I explained I booked the hotel exclusively for the sauna. The next day, I ran into a manager and explained the situation. He told me he could offer a late checkout because I had an evening flight. I accepted and he double confirmed with the front desk. I checked out and confirmed I wouldn't be charged, this was with the same night staff as check-in (who I think is terrible and should be fired) 2 days later I check and see there is a $75 late checkout charge.... I have now called them twice about this, both accounting and the front desk. Both have promised a refund and yet it has been 8 business days with no refund. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is the breakfast. Amazing omelettes. Manager was also great. Front desk staff in the evening are horrible.
Had a wonderful 2 night/3 day experience at this Embassy Suites Downtown. The reception staff...Mel, Cora, Claudia..I think a clerk named Ann too, as well as a helpful young male clerk when I signed in, were so helpful...especially with my elevator concerns...I did not know to swipe my room key card to get the elevator to open the doors...yikes!.. Maybe needed is a little sign located by the swiping mechanism inside the elevator that key card needs to be used to manage doors. Room perfect. Very clean. Quiet. Price very reasonable. Nice, comfortable bed/pillows. Great view of people watching on street below. Pool clean, warm and plenty of towels. Breakfast buffet very good and staff friendly and efficient. Evening reception also a nice presentation. Walked to Denver Art Museum very easily from this hotel and found the area safe and well travelled with friendly people. Very happy Costco suggested this hotel in my travel package. Will stay here again when in Denver. Staff made all the difference for me in staying here. Thank you!
Overall this was a great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and taken care of daily. There is free hot breakfast every morning (like actual food prepared fresh for you! Not just steam table powdered eggs). The bar/restaurant is open in the afternoon till pretty late, so you can grab a bite or a drink most of the day. It's really close to the freeway, so that's really convenient. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area!
