Flora House Denver is a beautifully restored Victorian bed and breakfast offering a tranquil retreat with a convenient location near Red Rocks and other Denver attractions. Guests consistently praise the charming atmosphere, attentive hospitality, and delicious breakfasts, creating a memorable and comfortable stay.
Great Place to stay if you want to visit Red Rocks Amphitheater, the shuttle stops right around the corner. Nik & Dusty are super kind and friendly. The breakfast with homemade pastries, fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt, toast and spreads is included. You shouldn’t miss it. Be aware: it’s an old house and you can hear the guests in other rooms. Overall it’s a very calm place. And you can relax on the patio, in the hot tub or living room. There’s free parking in front and on the street.
This place is BEAUTIFUL! Fantastic restoration of an historical house in a quiet and very pretty neighborhood - very convenient location. My room was so comfortable, large, beautiful. I appreciated the little touches of a big bottle of drinking water to start my stay, fresh flowers and a plant in the room, a humidifier for those dry Denver days. The common spaces - DR, LR, Breakfast room were so cozy and comfortable. The place is spotless; the outdoor patio large with many seating areas under and around trees, surrounded by gardens. Response from the innkeepers Nik and Dusty was rapid, helpful, and so kind. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Our stay at Flora House was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Jen, the owner, welcomed us warmly and immediately made us feel at home. Nikki and Dusty, the innkeepers, were equally gracious, creating the perfect balance of attentive hospitality and peaceful privacy. One of our favorite parts of the experience was beginning each morning with a quiet cup of coffee in the beautiful garden alongside fellow guests, then returning in the evening to unwind with a glass of wine in the same serene setting. Meeting several repeat guests spoke volumes about the consistently outstanding experience Flora House provides. With its stunning atmosphere, impeccable hospitality, and tranquil charm, Flora House is not only a wonderful getaway but would also make a spectacular venue for any special event. We felt like we were with family and we certainly plan to stay at Flora House during our next trip to Denver.
Our stay in the Iris Suite at Flora House was marvelous in every respect. The house itself is a beautifully restored Victorian, and our suite was a light-filled, spacious, quiet, gorgeously designed joy. We were so impressed with the thoughtful attention to detail and abundant amenities. The bed was a dream! Although our time was limited, we loved touring the private garden, enjoying a bit of respite in the downstairs living and dining rooms, and savoring a wonderful breakfast. Perfect location and very happy to have had one of the private parking spaces. Thank you, Flora House…we shall return!
My stay at Flora House was wonderful- it is located in a quiet neighborhood but easy walk to shops and restaurants. Gorgeous Victorian house, with a lovely common space to relax and have continental breakfast. My room had a kitchenette and sitting room. Exactly as described. I will definitely recommend to others.
Absolutely adored our stay at Flora house! It’s such a gorgeous home, decorated so cute! The breakfast each morning was so yummy and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The owner, Jen, is such a delight with great recommendations and just makes you feel so welcome. We will be recommending Flora house to anyone visiting Denver and will be back on our next visit!
Absolutely adored every aspect of my stay here last night. The place is so cute, quaint, charming and clean. Perfectly located for walking to concerts at the Ogden or Fillmore. We stayed in the Orchid Suite and it was positively adorable. A cute little sitting area with a fireplace, the king bed was so comfortable, and the little kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed! The whole building is decorated to perfection and feels so warm and inviting. There's a lovely patio and garden out back with a hot tub too. We spoke with who I believe was the owner a few times during our stay and she is just as lovely as the place is.. very obvious that she enjoys what she does. She was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. I will 1000% be back. This is my new favorite spot in Denver by far! Down to every little detail, this place is perfect. You will not be disappointed
I cannot express how lovely our stay was in every way… Flora House itself is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, and beautifully curated — it’s the kind of place where every appointment feels intentional but with modern day comforts.. The rooms are all so unique… and you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. What truly sets Flora House apart, though, is the hospitality. Nik and Dusty were so welcoming, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. Their brunch presentation was incredible… including fresh-squeezed orange juice, bagels and lox, a variety of granola and cereal offerings, fresh fruit, and amazing coffee! The patio with the flagstone walk, the hot tub, gardens, and water feature is just charming. We have had the best experience and can’t wait to come back!! ??
What a gem in Denver! We stayed for one night in the Wildflower room. It was the only room available for the night. I believe it’s one of the smallest rooms in the house, but the room had plenty of space. The shower and toilet room was pretty small, but it was fine. Everything was clean and cozy. The house is beautiful. The Victorian character is all still there, and the appropriate upgrades for comfort have been made. It was so quiet in the house at night. There was a very small amount of outside noise at night for a short time, but it’s Denver on a Saturday, so that was to be expected. Breakfast was “fancy continental” as mentioned online. We had options for lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, charcuterie, and cereals. We live near Denver, so we understand the stigma that comes with “Colfax Ave”. We felt safe while there with no issues at all. The parking is a tight squeeze and there was no nearby street parking available while we were there. If Walgreens allows overnight parking, there is plenty of space right next door there. We would love to return in spring or summer to enjoy the outside garden!
We had a lovely 2 night stay at this charming location. Room space was generous and the innkeepers are friendly and attentive. Check in and communication was stellar. A nice treat was the passes to the botanical garden - a 15 minute walk from the Flora House. We caught an orchid show that was pretty amazing. We had oils stay again.
