The Hilton Garden Inn - Denver Cherry Creek receives mixed reviews, with recent guests praising the location and friendly staff, particularly the bartender Moni. However, recurring concerns about room quality, cleanliness issues, elevator malfunctions, and unhelpful front desk staff persist, leading to an overall average experience.
Had both my parents stay here last year they’re both in their 70s. We got to the front reception to check them in and were ignored by the receptionist. They also had some bad experiences during breakfast where they were given a bill even though they had already pre-paid for their breakfast, rooms were very average Not really what I was expecting for them. Other than that, it was fine.
Great location and excellent staff make this hotel a fave when we visit Denver. We especially appreciated the lobby bar/lounge and Moni, the bartender. Super friendly, knowledgeable, quick and efficient all describe her and her bartending. Made us feel welcomed and valued - Moni really goes the extra mile! Love staying at this Hilton property.
An exceptional stay in every sense. The dining options were gourmet-level, and each dish tasted fresh and beautifully prepared. The spa offered world-class treatments that left me feeling completely rejuvenated. This hotel defines luxury at its finest
This hotel is fine. It’s not amazing, but it’s not bad. The staff were so kind, they really made the whole experience for us. My kids and I went on a quick Denver trip with the highlight being all-you-can-swim at the hotel pool. I picked this hotel especially because of the pool set up but was disappointed to find the hot tub extremely dirty. The pool looked clean though and kids had a great time. The room was clean and there was great access to food. My only other complaint was that the hotel alarm clock went off at 6am and the plug was locked into it so I had to shine a flashlight to figure out how to turn it off. Otherwise it was a great trip.
Location is awesome and the restaurants in the parking lot are great. Staff is super friendly too! Cleanliness and quality are not good though. Most of the room was falling apart and the beds were completely dead. They need to update their rooms. The only thing that made the stay ok was the staff.
I'm a Hilton loyalist and big fan of the HGI brand. Place is clean and safe. The problem was they seemed to be understaffed and the breakfast service was sub par. Facilities could use a remodel too. I would come back for another stay, but would hope they would get things together better soon.
My wife Dena and I were in Denver on business for a 2 days and stayed at this Hilton. Our room was great however I had to mention our experience in the lounge was memorable. The bartender (Moni) was so friendly and not only made an amazing martini for my wife but gave us some great recommendations for site seeing and shopping in the area for our stay. We went back to see her twice on our trip and she really went the extra mile!! We recommend going to see Moni if you stay there.
Front desk is not helpful or friendly. Any questions we had they could not answer. Any help we needed they could not answer. We needed up canceling the last 2 nights or our 4 night stay and have still not been refunded for the canceled nights. Overall extremely disappointing. Would stay somewhere else. We have stayed at other Hilton Garden Inns and they have been wonderful.
Amazing staff. Nice spacious clean room. Great air-conditioning. Great location. Located next to many restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel. The only issue I had was they charged me for parking when I didn’t have a car.
First I want to say that Kim at the front desk was a great help in getting our reservation tweaked and accommodating us on short notice. The hotel is nice, clean, and in a great location close to everything in Cherry Creek and downtown Denver, as well as some restaurants and coffee in the same lot to walk to. The room was clean and well appointed, the shower is a good size with great water pressure. The wifi worked well on my phone but was pretty much useless for my work laptop so I used my phone hotspot instead. My main complaint would be the pillows on the bed. They were all so limp and flat, zero head and neck support so they really served no purpose. I almost went to the Target nearby to buy a cheap one for a couple days but didn't. I know it's not a fancy hotel but pillows are important and I didn't sleep well during my stay. So if you bring your own pillow, you'll have a good stay.
