The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Stadium generally receives positive feedback, particularly highlighting its convenient location near the stadium and friendly staff. However, recent reviews raise concerns about noise levels, limited hot water pressure, and inconsistent room quality, alongside a notable nightly parking fee.
I enjoyed our stay, had a business event in Denver and needed a decently priced hotel. For the cost, the value was great. Very clean and updated rooms, Smart TV, really nice bathroom and shower. Staff at the front desk was helpful and considerate. You can pay for garage parking which is secured so only hotel stays can park, adding value. Overall great experience.
First of all — the hotel itself was beautiful. From the 2nd floor terrace we had a little peek at the mountains and a gorgeous view of Downtown Denver and the Broncos Stadium. I stood out there like I owned the place, breathing in fresh air and minding other folks’ business from a distance. The staff? Sweet as pie. Friendly, welcoming, and made everything smooth from check-in to checkout. We didn’t try the restaurant, but I loved that it was there because Auntie appreciates options — especially when hunger strikes unexpectedly. Now let’s talk about the room… CLEAN. Not “looks clean” — but actually clean. The kind of clean where you walk in and instantly relax. And the hot water??? MY GOD. Endless. Strong. Reliable. The kind of shower that makes you rethink your life decisions and stay in there longer than you should. I came out renewed, refreshed, and slightly reborn. Overall — beautiful stay, peaceful vibes, great views, and comfort that does what it’s supposed to do. Auntie Loren approved ?? Would definitely stay again.
Paid for stay, then denied accommodation at 4 AM — unacceptable experience - $796 paid I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience at Courtyard by Marriott. I arrived at the property late at night and completed the check-in process, paying approximately $796 for my stay. After seeing the room condition, I requested a room change, which I believe is a reasonable request when rooms are not up to standard. The room had a smell of Marijuna and I was very uncomfortable to even stand there. Rooms were looking like dungeon. I was ready to pay extra to upgrade my room. Instead of offering an alternative or a solution, the receptionist very rude and refused to change the room and asked me to leave the property altogether, despite having already taken full payment. This happened around 4:00 AM, leaving me stranded in the middle of the night. I was under significant stress, and my health was not in good condition at the time. Being denied accommodation after payment is unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. I expect a full refund and a proper explanation for how this situation was handled. This experience does not align with the standards expected from the Marriott brand.
This is the hotel I stayed at when I came to Denver to work the Patriots Broncos game for the AFC Championship. I booked a regular room for four nights. The check in process was easy and Melinie was the person helping me. She was very polite and made sure that I have the best experience. My room was on the first floor and it was a nice room for one person. I checked out the fitness center on the second floor and also their little outdoor patio area. There also a rooftop bar area on the sixth floor but I didn't have the opportunity to check it out. The bar area is great, there even an area where you can just hang out and watch TV or do some work. I grabbed breakfast and dinner at the bar during my stay, Jackie was the bartender and she was amazing. The breakfast burrito isn't that good or the flatbread pizza. The chicken sandwich with fries was my favorite dish here. I also had to print out a document and the staff here was great on helping me when it didn't print properly at their printer area. I had some issues during my stay. My room didn't have a TV remote so I had to call the front desk to get one. The first one they give me didn't work so I had to call again. The second one they give me worker and while I had the worker there, I asked him to look at the heater since it was making noise. He ended up unplugging it because it's a known issue but they haven't fixed it yet. The water pressure in the shower isn't strong so be aware. The noise from other rooms closing the door or just moving around will bother you as well.
Beware, there is a $45 per night charge to park in the small hotel parking lot. Street parking is slim pickings and the area is borderline sketchy. The road noise at night is also extremely loud from Federal Blvd. Which is the street that the Courtyard sits. On the other hand, rooms are clean and look new. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
The place is new and in a great location for a Broncos game. It has wonderful city and stadium views with many things to do within walking distance. Our only concerns were with the shower and room doors closing so loudly. Shower needs hotter water and more pressure. Hopefully they fix these issues before our next stay.
I would stay literally anywhere else. The service and people are outstanding!!!! No questions or issues there whatsoever. The employees of the hotel were amazing! It's the hotel itself. Easily one of the top ten most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. The pillows might as well be five sheets of paper in a pillow case for how thick they were. There is no overhead lighting in the room, only lamps that are weak and can no where near light the room. This really sucked as the rooms face each other in a tower kind of way, so the opposite tower also blocks out any sunlight from getting in. The tv was broken, and though there was an option to set up our own streaming device, it was disabled from use. This hotel presented a unique problem I've never faced when staying at a hotel...there was no hot water. Ever. Lukewarm showers, at best. The location is a bit sketchy. A block over in one direction seems fine, a block in the other seems dangerous. However, it is in a prime location if you're looking to go tailgating/to the Broncos game. Easy walking distance to the stadium and tailgating is across the street. Ultimately, we ended up cutting our vacation a day short and going home due to how uncomfortable we were in the hotel.
If you are a marijuana user don’t stay here unless you want a $250 smoking fee. I had to leave some behind because I can’t bring it back to my home state, and they charged me for that. I did not smoke in the room, but because i had to leave some behind I was charged a fee. Definitely should be listed in the policy, in my opinion. And on top of it, hotel room wasn’t even all the way clean and housekeeping decided they were just gonna walk in on me and my roommate to clean the room without knocking. like for real? Do better.
This was our hotel for our trip to Denver to see NIN 8/15/25. At first, wasn't sure how to feel about the location, mainly since it was our first trip to Colorado in general. I think looking back, the location was optimal to getting around everywhere we wanted to overall without being any closer to the downtown area. The room itself was okay. It looked very nice and the views were nice from the 2nd floor, but the quality on some of the things like the bathroom, shower and bed didn't seem to quite align with the price point we paid (in my opinion). The building itself screams "luxury" but I wasn't feeling too convinced on that. Regardless, it was comfortable enough and the bakery down the street (Petunia's Bakeshop) was worth it.
You can’t beat the location if you want to be near everything downtown Denver. It’ll cost about 65.00 for a one way trip using Lyft from the airport. There are two restaurants in the hotel both are really good. The market in the hotel has some decent items, I attached pictures. The beds are spring mattresses not memory foam. They were comfortable but not luxury. The showers are amazing, I attached pictures. The views are city views. You can take day tours to the mountains, book on Expedia for discounts. Restaurants are walking distance or you can grab a scooter, or carriage taxi. Very cool experience. There is a sewage smell around Denver and high rates of homeless. I had great conversations with a few. It’s a very neat place to visit.
