The Residence Inn Denver/Cherry Creek receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its convenient location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, recurring issues with cleanliness, particularly regarding hair and debris, alongside parking fees and elevator malfunctions, significantly detract from the overall experience. Recent reviews highlight inconsistencies in service and room condition.
The pool and hot tub are nice, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I found the hotel and the room were not very clean. There were dog poop bags outside multiple side entrances. The tables by the elevators are pretty gross. My room had a hard, crusty film on the counter and dust on top of the fridge. Parking should be noted, as the area can be busy and there are limited options for paying for it.
Nice and clean hotel. The girl working on Friday evening was fantastic. I did not like the selection of almost bouncer-looking front desk agent on Saturday morning. The grooming didn’t match the class of the hotel, but we Americans care less about the grooming when it is followed by a beautiful smile and friendly attitude. The breakfast staff were efficient. The hotel could use some extra lighting at places, especially at the coffee stand.
Both elevators broken for days so if your traveling with anyone old or handicapped I guess you just have to carry them and the wheel chair up the stairs pretty wild. I could understand one of them for 24hrs but both is completely crazy. For someone who has chronic back pain in the mornings it's nice to know I only have to go down 4 flights of stairs to get a water for my medicine and back 4 flights of stairs. Everything else here was OK but this is kinds the deal breaker for me and all my coworkers. Probably just take the companies business someplace that does routine maintenance on there elevators so they both don't break at the same time. I mean I would have left and switched hotels already but with a bad back I'm not taking a 7 day trips worth of luggage down 4 flights of stairs lol. I guess if you have to stay here ask for the first floor or your about to stairmaster randomly with luggage.
Not sure why this is only a 3 star hotel. The location is excellent, the staff Sandy and Michael are wonderful and the parking is convenient and plenty of it. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The breakfast is standard, and there are a number of restaurants to choose from nearby and right outside the front door.
I often stay here when in Denver, several times a year. The area is convenient, with several restaurants and shopping walkable. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and housekeeping is excellent - very clean. Breakfast is pretty basic, but "free" though you have to navigate all the kids swarming the buffet. Unfortunately, this location continues to charge for parking. The parking lot is unattended, free to anyone driving in, and cramped. Yet another way Marriott is abusing its most loyal customers with "destination charges" and other mark-ups that offer zero value, and which takes away from the "hospitality" they offer.
We had a pleasant experience. Our suite was clean, quiet, and well equipped. The location is very good. Unfortunately the breakfast is typical Marriott chain, highly processed over sugared. Good thing an array of restaurants, coffee shops, whole foods, trader joes, retail etc are nearby. We will stay here again when visiting Denver.
Residence Inn Cherry Creek surprised me in the best way. The location is unbeatable because you can walk to food, coffee, and trails while still being close to downtown Denver. The rooms feel clean and modern with plenty of space to actually spread out, which is rare for a hotel in this area. The beds are comfortable, the showers have great pressure, and the kitchen setup is clutch when you are staying more than a night or two. The lobby and common areas feel fresh and well kept, and the parking is easy which is huge in this part of town. The staff was friendly every time I walked through the front desk and they made the stay feel relaxed instead of stressful. If you want a quiet, clean, convenient spot in Cherry Creek that makes travel simple, this is the place I would book again.
Location in a shopping center. I had several interactions with front desk for various inquiries today & other 2 days. Upon coming home after business dinner late Friday evening Precious indicated the “pervious staff checked us out and told Precious we could not retrieve our property until tomorrow morning. As Marriott Rewards members they had credit card on file for the previous nights plus several contact information. No one had called or emailed us, we had not noticed the check out date was wrong. We offered to rectify and pay for another night. They had several rooms. Precious reiterated she could not release our property called Carla no answer. Precious waiting for mgr to return call. We waited now 11:30 pm. Applaud.
Decent location. EV charging within a half mile. Air conditioning was somewhat noisy. Food- good food- was nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Clean. Well maintained.
I really appreciate the front desk staff, Bernard who helped make my stay so much easier! The room was clean, quiet and we have a good rest after a long drive. I recommend this place for sure!
