The Limelight Hotel Boulder is a relatively new hotel receiving generally positive feedback, particularly praising its cleanliness, location, and attentive staff. Recent guests highlight the comfortable rooms, convenient amenities like bikes and shuttles, and the hotel's proximity to downtown Boulder and the university campus. However, some reviewers note minor operational issues and a perceived lack of polish in certain areas, particularly in the bedrooms.

I wish this place was around when I was in school! From the second you walk in to the beautiful bar to the amazing pool/hot tub and even the perfect size & style rooms this place is fantastic. Walking distance to everything, I have zero complaints other than I didn’t get to stay longer.

The Heart Centered Wellness event over Valentines weekend was fabulous. The meeting room spaces were transformed into welcoming, calming, healing promoting sanctuaries. Meditation, restorative yoga, red light therapy, sound healing baths and more were available in a speak easy format. The pool and jacuzzi deck added sunshine and water pleasure. John Wing Flower's voice and healing touch is an amazing, calming experience, encouraging openness, safety and release of tension and negativity while evoking acceptance and love. Stacy was a great host. She is attentive and knowledgeable, offering suggestions of nearby restaurants and calming walks within the bustling university environment. Estere's starry knowledge and intuition was insightful as we begin the year of the Fire Horse. And, her flower arrangements just made the space even more comforting. I look forward to the next opportunity to receive the healing and energy.

Great hotel, but you pay for what you get The staff is very friendly and helpful. A shout-out to Arthur from housekeeping, who showed me where to find the spare blanket, and Marcus at the front desk, who solved a Wi-Fi access problem with one question. A quibble: It would have been nice for front desk staff to wear name tags so that I could learn their names. Front desk staff also do not always give their names when picking up the phone, which makes it harder to appreciate them. The rooms have large windows and high ceilings. The bed is comfortable. The room is very well-equipped. It comes with a Lavazza espresso maker, and delightfully quiet Smeg fridge. The air conditioning is quiet and the controls are easy to use. The multi-level lighting is also convenient and easy to use. There's a lovely big screen TV, and I appreciated being able to use Chromecast. The hotel decor overall is very good. I particularly liked the artworks in the hallways. The breakfast in the Ajax restaurant was good but expensive. $30+ for orange juice, fruit & yogurt, and a pancake side. Not worth it. The next morning I went across the street and bought my breakfast at the Moxy's bar: $12 for a decent breakfast burrito. The "Destination Amenity Fee" is a rip-off, like all resort fees charged by already-expensive hotels. It pays for things that should be included in the price, like Wi-Fi access, a fitness center, and the outdoor pool and hot tub; and it covers things I do not need, like aluminum water bottles and discounts at neighborhood retailers. The one benefit that I used was borrowing a bicycle, which was very convenient. Bottom line: the Embassy Suites on Canyon Blvd is better value, and remains my favorite. A fantastic buffet breakfast is included there and the facilities are almost as good.

Fantastic new hotel. Definitely will be coming back for all of my regular business trips to Boulder. My room was quiet! That's my main requirement. I didn't even have to use earplugs. Even the HVAC was very quiet.

Clean, which is the most important thing for hotels. Easy to work with staff, Carlos and team with the Valet are wonderful and fun to talk to, complimentary valet, bikes, laundry room and gym were all wonderful. Pool looked very clean and gym was very well stocked. Didn’t have a car but the complimentary shuttle got me everywhere I needed, also many restaurants are a 5 min walk. Great view of the flatirons as well, and Ajax restaurant was wonderful.

Fantastic stay! Loved the size of the room, the view, the humidifier in the room was a first, amenities, decor, the food, the Audi's available onsite and look forward to staying here again! I definitely can tell they are boutique hotel and not a large chain.

The hotel is located on the western edge of the CU campus, right off Broadway, and is very close to Downtown Boulder. It is only about a 12 minute walk from the downtown Boulder bus station, and furthermore, the AB1 bus from the Denver DIA airport runs along Broadway and stops almost right next to the hotel. So it is very convenient to take the AB1 bus from the Denver DIA airport to get to the hotel (only $10 each way). It is only about a 20 minute walk to get to the mountains (e.g., the "People's Crossing", located off Canyon Blvd.). The Ajax restaurant at the hotel is very nice, though it would be good to have a few more vegetarian options.

Stayed at the Limelight Hotel in Boulder, Colorado and had a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly and incredibly accommodating. Breakfast was excellent—especially the Belgian waffle. The free valet was wonderful and made everything so easy. Plus, it’s just a two-minute drive to Pearl Street, which was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Limelight Boulder during a power outage. The staff were very accommodating and helpful! Even though it was a tough situation for the employees they did an amazing job making sure I was comfortable, even loaning me a flashlight and a little solar lamp. The hotel was sparkling clean - my room, the gym, all common areas shined! Even my dog had a good time! Thank you, Limelight Boulder for the very enjoyable stay! And the holiday decorations were so pretty!!!!

As a travel agent I enjoy exploring new places to stay, and the Limelight truly exceeded expectations. My stay was a pleasure from start to finish. The reservation process and check-in were seamless, and the room was spacious, comfortable, well designed, and quiet. Jill and Zack at the lobby bar were gracious and professional, and the valet team was equally warm and attentive. I also appreciated the cheerful and courteous housekeeping staff I encountered throughout my stay. The hotel amenities elevated the experience. The pool area was inviting with its comfortable cabanas and outdoor fireplace, and the patio with the satellite bar, live music, and game-day setup created an enjoyable atmosphere. Everything felt thoughtful and well executed, making the hotel an excellent base for visiting Boulder. I look forward to returning!
