This centrally located Homewood Suites is praised for its convenience to downtown attractions, convention center, and hot breakfast, but recent guests frequently complain about the high cost of parking and unexpected financial charges.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect — very central and within walking distance of the Convention Center, which was exactly where I needed to be. The valet parking service was excellent, especially thanks to John. He was attentive, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. His professionalism really made a difference. Overall, a very good experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.
I have a friend who flew in from Malaga Spain and he booked this location. It was perfect for him because he had a kitchen area/seating area, and he could prepare food. The bedroom was very spacious and so was the bathroom. He went grocery shopping at a Whole Foods Market somewhere in the neighborhood to stock his kitchenette for the week he plans to stay. The room was perfect for him and super clean. The staff and the valet were also very welcoming and so nice! He said he was loving this location in the downtown Denver metro area!
Loved the complimentary hot breakfast. Attentive staff, large very clean rooms with many amenities (full size refrigerator, microwave oven, cooktop, two TVs, etc ). ONLY things that were disappointing were the fact that the hot tub was closed during my stay, and the room windows were absurdly tiny! Other than that - highly recommended.
Visited for just one night for a business meeting- this was a great hotel and the rooms are extremely nice. Staff was super friendly and Shania went out of her way to help our group use a meeting room for the day, even though we did not have it reserved. I also loved the mountains out my window :)
Room could have been cleaner. What earned my 4 star review was the amazing breakfast staff! They were so sweet. My 6 year old felt so special because they came up and asked her if she was done with her plate and needed anything, rather than waiting on mom. Thanks for treating her so kindly!
Hotel was beautiful, clean, very spacious with full kitchen and well stocked. Breakfast was good, we loved sitting by the fireplace with the kiddos. VALET employees were amazing. JARRETT, SENAI AND HOPE all did an amazing job helping us with many things, bringing the car quickly(and frequently with our large extended family) and always in great upbeat moods to laugh with! Definitely the best part of our hotel experience!!
The hotel is okay, but the valet is great! In particular, Jarrett, was extremely helpful in parking my oversized SUV. He is exceptionally friendly and hard working. After a long cross country drive, his friendly attitude was especially appreciated.
The $60 per day parking fee is not mandatory as others have said, but the 'incident deposit' of $60 per night that goes towards any charge of your stay(like parking or food/drink) is. Had no idea about this and booked a stay for 4 nights, thinking I'd avoid the charge by taking an uber there. The $240 per night charge I recieved upon check in was quite the surprise and made my budget a lot more restrictive for my trip. When I expressed my surprise to the clerk, he almost seemed worried i would complain, like this is something that happens on a consistent basis. Luckily its just a hold, but it still takes 3-5 business days to go back on your card after check out. Maybe I didnt know about this because I booked through a third party website but regardless, that information should be provided when book. As others have said, the pipes in our rooms when showering and flushing the toilet sounded like a jackhammer. It was funny the first day but by the third day I was ready to go buy my own jackhammer and redo the plumbing myself. The strict rules over new years (30th and 31st) were disappointing but understandable. These included no one being able to enter the hotel that did not have a wrist band. The only way to get a wrist band was if you were on the registery for a room. Long story short, no sleep overs. No loud music. No partying. Etc. Location was pretty much the only positive thing about staying here since it was right next to the convention center. That and the hot tub was nice. If I had known what I know now about this hotel, I would have happily booked a different hotel with less restrictions, including the incident deposit, even if it was a further walk from the convention center. Won't be staying here again unless absolutely necessary.
It was a wonderful surprise to see how luxurious the hotel is right in the heart of downtown. They also valet for a reasonable price and the valet Jarrett was awesome. He quickly and professionally got my car each time. This service was so much better than hunting for parking all over downtown.
In town for an event. Was like many other Homewood Suite locations. Very personable and happy staff. Perfect city location, with easy access to just about anything. Room price seemed elevated, but comparable to other locations, and for the times. I would stay here again, and do recommend.
