We had such a great staycation at Cheyenne Mtn Resort! The entire experience was wonderful from check in to check out. The resort is in the perfect location and the views are unmatched! Being a native, I can’t believe I haven’t stayed here more! The price was on par too. We opted for dinner at Elevations one night because we didn’t feel like leaving after a long day at the pool! Everything was delicious, most of us opted for burgers and salad, fries, fruit. You can dine inside or sit on the patio. After dinner, we had s’mores which I know is dependent on which night you stay but our girls had so much fun! We also were lucky and had fireworks and a view right from our balcony. You can use all the country club amenities which I think is super cool especially on a staycation. The room was nice and clean. The only negative thing I have about the room is if guests are above you, it can be a little bit loud. One piece I am not fond of is paying the resort fee + the now $30 a night parking fee. Most resorts we have stayed lately just charge the resort fee. Maybe someone to look into especially as Hyatt members. We can’t wait to come back though!

It was OK. I suppose my review is clouded by the fact that I had to pay $30/day for parking (why is that not included when I already pay a room fee?! Am I supposed to take a shuttle from somewere?!) plus an additional resort fee. I mean, I suppose the resort fee covers access to the country club amenities, which were were barely able to use anyways due to afternoon rains (no available tennis courts), and local club practice times (preventing access to swim lanes). Also, the one thing my kid really wanted to do - drive a few golf balls, was an extra $30/day/person (but, you get access for the ENTIRE day, they said, not understanding that we'd be done in 30 minutes). So yeah, we didn't do that either. Rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, but dated. Did not eat at the resort (too expensive when not using a company card) so can't comment on that. Common areas were fine - nothing special, nothing terrible. Views from the patio off the lobby were nice with a morning coffee. Location provided easy access to the things we were there to see - Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak Railway, Old Colorado City, etc. Did not have much interaction with staff but what I did have was positive. So yeah, overall impression is a 3/5.

Listed as a 4 star resort I expected more. The room was clean but felt a bit dilapidated.This was the first accessible room we have ever booked and sadly it was not great. It did have a roll in shower with a small lip. We requested a shower chair and it was provided by the staff. The shower head was detachable but was mounted at standing height. The bathroom was pretty small but a powerchair was just barely able to fit. The patio was not accessible which was just as well since the view was that of a hallway and part of a paved patio facing more windows. I called ahead to make sure the pool and hot tub had a lift. I was assured that they did and were most likely working. We did not try the lift at the one pool we saw during our stay. There was no lift to the hot tub at all (for the one we saw) and it had a ledge as well as steps into it making it impossible to use.

This resort in the mountains was exactly what I needed at this moment. The views are spectacular, the food is great, the staff is outstanding, even the parking is convenient. If you want to play golf, pickle ball, tennis, go to the fitness center or relax in one of five pools or the hot tub (and there is an adults only pool too) it's all there to enjoy. There is a full spa, a nice bar, a couple of restaurants and sometimes a buffet. It is located on the side of a mountain so if the altitude gets to you, golf cart drivers will take you where you want to go. Shout out to the gardening staff - the foliage and hanging baskets are beautiful. A short ride away there are museums, a zoo, zip lines, caves, little restaurants and fast food. You can go to the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun and Pikes Peak. Cycle around the area on one of the resort bicycles. There were two conventions in progress while we were there and it was no bother at all, didn't delay restaurant seating or access to any amenities. Our stay was short but we expect to return very soon for a full experience. Thank you to staff members Megan and Oscar for making our stay just that much better. Kylie, Ella and another staff member (sorry about the names!) were also great. This is not Disney World. It's the real thing.

I will start by saying that the campus is beautiful. The lobby and common areas are very nice and well maintained. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves are quite dated, clean but dated. I booked a mountain view room, but the view was almost completely obstructed by the building/room next to us, which was disappointing. One thing that wasn't mentioned on the website is that some rooms require climbing multiple flights of stairs. We were on the third floor, and because the rooms have exterior entrances and there is no elevator, so we carried our luggage up three flights of stairs. In the summer, okay... but if you are going in the winter, beware. Our room was also located directly in front of the golf course, and maintenance crews were out mowing the grass at 6:30 a.m. The early morning noise made it difficult to sleep and was not what we expected while trying to enjoy a relaxing stay. Additionally, I was not informed at check-in that a parking pass was required. By the time I reached our room—which was not close to the lobby—I noticed that all of the other vehicles had parking passes displayed, meaning I had to make an extra trip back to the front desk to get one. Better communication about these details at check-in would have made the experience much smoother.

Had a studio with two double beds. Room was spacious. Typical small microwave and coffee pot. The staff was awesome. Restaurants have both indoor and outdoor seating. If possible, choose outside. The view is great. The golf course was absolutely pristine. Hats off to the superintendent and the crew. We'll done. Nice size outdoor pool and hot tub.

Got married and booked a room there, when we arrived they upgraded our room to a presidential suite and gave us a complimentary drink and bottle and chocolates and a card. Customer service was great, the room was great and had the best views of the resort and the mountains. Will definitely be back!

This resort felt like stepping into the movie Dirty Dancing with the beautiful main house, tennis courts, golf, and incredible mountain views all around. Such a relaxing and classic atmosphere with so much charm. What really stood out was the level of service. I needed Tylenol and figured I’d have to go pick it up myself, but the front desk handled everything and had it delivered to my room in less than 5 minutes, simply charging it to my bill. That level of attentiveness made a huge impression. It was a short stay, but an amazing experience overall. I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the mountains.

We went for a company party so I can't give it a 5 star as far enjoying the whole hotel. The wait staff was perfect. The restrooms and hotel were very clean. The front desk and valet greeted us very friendly. The food was a delicious high quality buffet. The views were awesome. We won a free nights stay so I'm hoping to change it to a 5 star then.

Went here for a work function and stayed in the fountain creek rooms. Beside that there was old food in the mini fridge (salad) and smelled. The room was very dated. The shower leaked from the room above and came down the wall. No smart tv, had a scrolling menu ( didn’t know those still existed). The room felt very dated and you can hear everything from adjacent rooms with surprising clarity. Bars on site close super early. Room service closes even earlier and they told us to use door dash for food and 3 ordered were rejected due to them saying the complex is too complicated to navigate and no lighting so they won’t come. Had to drive to get our own food and alcohol since they cater to the very old broadmore folks. Just disappointed with the hoopla behind them being a 4 master hotel and all the amenities but is was kinda lame and sad. Definitely won’t be back.
