We had a great stay at this luxury property. It’s located super close to Main St, has multiple onsite restaurants & bars, and the staff is stellar. Hikes and skiing is super accessible! One callout — parking is valet only and $55, but the hotel also offers a free shuttle taking you around town.

Hotel Alpenrock is the definition of luxury and service. The moment we arrived we loved the luxurious and warm vibe the lobby offered. Upon checkin, Cobey (sorry if I’m messing up your name) was very warm and inviting. He was awesome with our two kids and greeted them as well, which is sadly quite rare for a front desk employee. The hotel has a cool phone message you can dial from your room and the front desk will give your kids a little gift. We dealt with Samantha at the front desk at night, who was also very warm and welcoming to the whole family. Both employees are great at high end customer service and what they do. This is absolutely a 5 star stay. I used to work in hospitality and worked at a high end hotel and this place reminded me of there. We stayed in the one bedroom suite which was awesome. The views of the hillside were amazing and the room itself was nothing short of luxury. The attention to detail and upgrades in the room were very well designed and thought out. The lighting was fun and interactive, especially for the kids, but also relaxing for adults. The two bathrooms within the suite were perfectly cleaned and full of amenities and features. The coffee bar and high-top dining area were also an added bonus for families and dining in. The living room area had a very comfortable couch with a pull-out bed and the area came complete with Pendleton wool blankets and board games. Lastly, the valet team were always very attentive and expeditious. Even without early warning we maybe waited, at most, 3 minutes for our car. Can’t wait to visit again!

I arrived Tuesday morning and was greeted by the most welcoming staff. Cobey was the one who checked me in and gave recommendations for spots in the area. That evening I had dinner in the Edwin which is a full service restaurant. I was very surprised how large the dining area was. impressive. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer. After that, I tried a few entrées. Squash ravioli was amazing with the balsamic cream sauce! The chicken piccata had homemade fettuccine which was incredible. I always order a margarita pizza anywhere I go and this Queen margherita did Not disappoint. The star of the show was the Mediterranean snapper.. acqua pazza, fennel-tomato ragu with a charred lemon. If you’re in the Breck area and looking for something new to try I recommend coming to The Edwin!

Excellent hotel. Rooms are ample and comfortable. Common bar area is awesome. They speakeasy is fantastic. Restaurant looked good. Jacuzzis were good too although one stopped working mid weekend. Valet parking only but there is a paid parking next door. Gym is great. All staff were flawless. This is my #1 pick for next visit. Maybe a post design thing but floors 8-10 need two elevator flights and can be little annoying. Overall great value and experience. We'll done!

Rooted in the Rockies and perfectly located steps from the Peak 9 lift, Hotel Alpenrock has an ideal base-camp location for a Breckenridge getaway. I recently stayed here with my daughters and 6-month-old grandchild, and the initial welcome was spectacular. Alex greeted us upon check-in and he was friendly, humorous, and most importantly, highly professional. He is exactly the type of person you want greeting you after a long day of travel! ?Unfortunately, our experience with the room itself was a major disappointment. We were given a room overlooking the entrance, valet, and a roof full of industrial air-conditioning units. The noise from the ventilation systems completely deemed our balcony sitting area unusable. I later asked the valet about the hotel's occupancy and found out they were at less than 25%. On top of that, the bed I slept in was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable, resulting in zero sleep. ?Security and privacy were also a concern. While my daughters went to enjoy the fun onsite speakeasy for a nightcap, I stayed in the room with the baby. I called down to request a fan, but when the staff member brought it up, he knocked and immediately walked right into our room without giving me a chance to answer the door. As a woman alone with an infant, I was not happy about that at all. ?While the restaurant serves great food and the lobby coffee cafe is very convenient, the room assignment, lack of comfort, and major privacy oversight really overshadowed the trip.

If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Breckenridge, I can’t recommend Hotel Alpenrock enough. This hotel truly delivers on every level—location, service, food, and overall experience. First off, the location is unbeatable. Hotel Alpenrock is just steps away from the chairlifts, making it incredibly convenient for skiing and snowboarding. There’s also a reliable shuttle service available for getting around Breckenridge if you want to explore more of the town without the hassle. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure every part of our stay was smooth. You can tell they genuinely care about guest experience, which makes a big difference. The food was outstanding—honestly some of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. And the bar scene was a highlight. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and a lively but still comfortable vibe—perfect for unwinding after a day on the mountain. Overall, Hotel Alpenrock is a top-tier choice in Breckenridge. Between the ski-in proximity, amazing staff, excellent dining, and fun après-ski scene, this place checks all the boxes. I’ll definitely be coming back. Don't forget to ask about the secret bar!!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and has a true luxury mountain feel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect—close to the slopes, shops, and restaurants. The coffee bar is incredible, the food was fantastic, and the hidden speakeasy adds such a fun, upscale touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and made our stay seamless. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing weekend stay at Hotel Alpenrock. The property and rooms are beautiful and spacious. Great food, drinks, and après happy hour prices at the Carter lobby bar. The location was easy to get around without a car - only a few minutes walk to the Quicksilver and Beaver Run chairs, and an easy walk to Main St in Breckenridge. We rented skis from the Breck Sports location in the hotel and used the Ski Valet to store our gear each night, which was extremely easy and convenient. Our favorite part of the stay was the friendly, helpful staff members who took great care of us - shoutout to Javier at the front desk, the Carter bartenders, and the Ski Valet team. We look forward to returning to the Hotel Alpenrock on future ski trips!

We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Alpenrock in Breckenridge and would absolutely return. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with a thoughtful design that balanced luxury and comfort. The beds were incredibly comfortable - perfect after a full day on the slopes. Our children loved the room, especially the large windows overlooking the snow-covered grounds. The hotel itself is stunning. The design blends modern sophistication with mountain elements in a way that feels elevated yet cozy. It truly has a “mountain chic” feel throughout. The location and ski access were also very convenient. The hotel provides an easy, short shuttle ride to the Village, where my husband and son attended ski school. Being able to get to lessons quickly without hassle was a huge plus for our family. It’s also very convenient to Main Street, making it easy to explore Breckenridge’s shops and restaurants. Dining on property was consistently excellent. We had breakfast sandwiches at the café, lunch at The Carter, and two dinners at Edwin. Every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It’s not always easy to find hotel dining that both adults and kids truly enjoy, but we found that here. One of the most fun surprises was the speakeasy inside the hotel. It felt like stepping into a city hideaway — intimate, stylish, and a perfect way to unwind in the evening without leaving the property. Overall, Alpenrock delivers on service, design, comfort, dining, and location. It feels upscale yet welcoming, and it works beautifully for both couples and families. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Breckenridge.

I recently stayed at Hotel Alpenrock in Breckenridge and was disappointed given the premium price point of the property. From the first day, there were several issues that impacted the quality of our stay. Upon arrival, we went up to the 9th floor only to find that our room keys did not work. After calling down to the lobby, we then had to wait for staff to come up and provide new keys, which was frustrating after a long travel day. The room temperature was a constant problem. The room was extremely hot at all times, even with the thermostat set to the lowest possible setting and the window left open day and night. This made it very uncomfortable to sleep and was never resolved during our stay. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. On multiple occasions the room was not restocked with toilet paper, and I had to go down to the lobby several times just to get a new roll. For a room that is priced at a luxury level, it was also surprising that there was no microwave provided, which is something I would expect at this rate. Breckenridge is a great destination, and the hotel has potential, but the lack of attention to basic comfort and service did not match the cost of the stay.
