The Embassy Suites Denver Tech Center offers spacious suites and is conveniently located near the Denver Tech Center. While praised for its location, staff, and included amenities like breakfast and happy hour, recent reviews highlight cleanliness concerns, outdated room features, and issues with parking fees and elevator functionality. Overall, it’s a decent option for business travelers or those attending events in the area, but needs improvements in several areas to fully meet guest expectations.
Not the luxury suites you’re expecting when you choose an Embassy Suites. Downstairs lobby looks amazing however the rooms are very worn. Carpet is extremely dirty, just look at your socks after walking around in your room, furniture is scratched and wobbly, the doors squeak, No smart TVs , I got a nice window view of a construction site. When I checked out after just 1 night of what was supposed to be 4, because it was prepaid , they refused to check me out of my room and allow me any kind of refund .. so Customer service is great also ! Hahaha
The only reason the room got 4 stars is because it was extremely cold and I couldn't find the thermostat to turn the temperature up. Overall, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable. I didn't like the fact that one of the neighbors had a dog that kept barking.
Building seems a little bit older but well kept and set up like other Embassy Suites. Staff were nice. Breakfast had good options and was quick with the omelet service. Only complaint is that parking is NOT complimentary. I got to the hotel after dark and didn't see much in regards to needing to pay for parking in the lot. There was no mention of it during check-in either. I only noticed a small paper sign as I was walking to the elevators with a QR code. Even then, the website used didn't tell me how much it would cost. After calling the front desk, I found out it was $20 but at that point I didn't really have any other option. There isn't a whole lot else close by.
The free breakfast is awesome, but the best part is eggs to order by Chef Alex! Not only did he cook my Denver omelet to PERFECTION, but he was just a pleasant person. Even without a word, you can feel the love and care he puts into what he does. He was so upbeat and kind with every person he engaged. Some chefs just keep their heads down and cook. He spoke to each person beyond asking their order. He spoke with everyone, asking questions and offered kindness and compliments. This is what the world needs right now. Peace amidst all the chaos. It was a great way to start my day and made the entire stay for me!
This place is only good for people with kids who have tournaments in the area i’ll just say that. if you’re traveling for work or on vacation this is not the place for you. the time i went there was so many tournaments going on they didn’t mention that usually common courtesy. Not to mention only one elevator worked and the staff allowed the kids to play ding dong ditch & we were waiting FOREVER to get on the elevator. also in the elevator it stopped at every floor. also the fact that when you tried taking the stairs abunch of kids were running up and down them for fun where were their parents??? idk but it’s kinda hard to haul luggage’s up 7 flights of stairs trying to dodge bratty kids. also waking up at 6 in the morning because kids wanna be running around bright and early and i’m not even kidding you! the most annoying experience i’ve ever had. also when it came down to breakfast there was no seating. breakfast was all out and you couldn’t take it up to the room because everyone tries to cram in one elevator because there only is 1 ELEVATOR. hate this place and will never be be back and i don’t think any of you should waste your time.
The rooms are old and dingy. They are outdated. The couch and chair in the living room area were stained in several areas making it uncomfortable to sit on them. The ceiling was stained. There were several places in the bathroom that had badly executed repairs. Only two of the elevators were working on a very busy weekend. The lobby and main bar/eating area are updated nicely.
This was a trip for a class in my profession. Hotel provided a room for the training, has a restaurant on site, is located near many other places to eat and provided a two room suite (two bed bedroom with an outer office/"living room") at a reasonable price. It was nice as the colleague I was sharing the double room with got food poisoning and she was up vomiting, etc. one night and was able to stay in the outer "living room". There were a few times around needing toilet paper that the service was slow but otherwise was very customer responsive and employees were extremely helpful and nice.
Rooms are a bit dated, but the other features really make up for it. The happy hour with 2 free drinks and some snacks is a great bonus. Nice pool and a pretty well equipped gym. Front desk staff was nice and efficient. No complaints!
This is a great hotel! Our suite was very nice and very clean.. just a bit dated. The location is great, in a very safe area of Denver. The bottom floor has a great common space where you can hang out, play games and enjoy drinks from the bar. Your stay does come with drink tickets too! There is a great indoor pool, but sadly no hot tub. The gym is very nice as well! My only complaint... The restaurant! The prices were very very high and the food was poor quality. The convenience of the restaurant is amazing .. so maybe with some improvements it can be great! HOWEVER.. THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST IS AMAZING ?
Everything about staying here was great! The suites are very nice. I live that the living room is separated from the bedroom. What's even better is the fact that you can close the door between the two and have privacy! The extra pull out bed was a great feature! Good thing, because we needed it! All the amenities in the room were great! It's so convenient to have a refrigerator and a microwave in a room! Especially with kids! The layout of the room was great, although the view from our room could have been better. There is a building blocking the view of the mountains. I'm sure if we were higher up, we might've been able to see them. The indoor pool was a great touch! It was perfect to distract the kids while we waited. The complimentary drinks and snacks, before dinner, are another great perk of staying here! Just the right amount to help you unwind after a long day. The breakfast buffet was also a great perk! There were so many good choices! Made to order omlets, scrambled eggs, potatoes, toast, bagels, cereal, and so much more. I loved staying here and without a doubt would definitely stay again! All staff were very kind and helpful. We stayed in December, so the Christmas decorations were a nice touch!
