The Denver Marriott Tech Center receives generally positive reviews, particularly for its staff, cleanliness, and convenient location near I-225. However, recent reviews highlight serious concerns regarding room quality, particularly regarding outdated rooms, malfunctioning AC units, and cleanliness issues like hair and residue. Despite positive experiences with staff and the conference facilities, the overall experience seems inconsistent.
I travel for work for the majority of the year and stay in hotels. I usually hold off until after the end of my stay to post reviews but i must say, this facility, staff, front desk have been nothing short of spectacular. Being in the customer service industry, i know how important the customer is and everyone here has gone above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable. If i could give a review to every single employee i have encountered during my stay, i would. Will definately stay here everytime i am in denver .
I truly enjoyed my stay here. The room was comfortable, clean, and very well stocked. I would especially like to recognize a staff member named Tina, who made a lasting impression on my family and me. Tina was incredibly kind, soft-spoken, and great with my children. She was always willing to help and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. During breakfast, she even accommodated my dietary needs, which I greatly appreciated, especially knowing that extra effort is not always required. Tina’s warmth, professionalism, and dedication truly enhanced our experience. If there is one thing to take away from this review, it is the exceptional service she provided. Please recognize Tina for her outstanding commitment to guests as she is a tremendous asset to your staff.
We just spent two nights here and boy.. was this room gross. There was hair everywhere on arrival, every corner and nook. The bathroom looked like someone mopped without vacuuming, every turnover. There was hair of multiple styles on display, and not just one or two strands. I watched during the day cleanings as housekeeping used mops to swab the toilet and floor, room after room, never using the vacuums on their carts once. The bathroom sink has dried white residue all down the front. Not hard to see but no one is looking. And the bathrooms have a barn sliding door, not a proper door. If you are staying with a spouse or S.O. you will get an earful of one another's bathroom breaks. The fridge doesn't work, which isn't a big deal but speaks to that general lack of attention to detail. Worse though was that the AC is totally useless. Not because it is broken, but because it is off and centrally managed. This building was converted, having an open courtyard entirely enclosed to create an indoor bar space. On paper that sounds great. However, they didn't bother to re-engineer the HVAC. The rooms on the exterior of the building need heat, because even now in late May the nights are chilly. However, every room (including ours) which opens to the indoor courtyard has 80 F air (this is the 4th floor and heat rises) outside the window, leaching heat inward. The rooms hit 75 F, even when you are present all day and have the AC set to 65 F. No cold air comes out because the duct is full of hot air for heating those cold exterior rooms. The rooms do not actually have independent HVAC, just the ability to open a damper and let in the duct-supplied air. It's been brutal, but they also didn't quite admit the truth until after a few rounds of "you're just not using the thermostat properly". Oh and the elevator down call button the fourth floor doesn't work. It's smashed in. I informed them and they propped it up to look fixed.. until we pressed it again. Luckily the elevator up button worked, but again.. lack of attention/caring. Stay somewhere else. There are plenty of other hotels in this area.
A great place for conferences. I've been to a few at this location. The staff is professional and on-point. The hotel is clean and well kept. Good location and close to I-225. A gift shop and store with food and snacks on the first floor. A revolving door option to enter and leave. Plenty if parking with an overflow option across the street.
Rooms were big and comfortable. For an older hotel, it was very updated. Was a perfect spot for my business trip and conveniently located for the visits I had in town. The staff was attentive and friendly. I had a rental car and there was plenty of parking even with a convention happening at the hotel for the days I was there. I really enjoyed their gym as well. It was a big room that had plenty of equipment. I would gladly stay here again the next time I'm in town.
I attended a conference and was incredibly impressed by the venue. The hotel has great breakout rooms for smaller groups to meet for presentations. The main stage area was fantastic! Multiple large screens and cameras that displayed the speakers made it very easy to follow the presenters which kept me fully engaged in the content instead of trying to see the stage.
Had an amazing stay here! The rooms were a bit outdated, but aside from that, they were very well appointed and spacious! What really made our stay stand out was the incredible service and the massive breakfast that the hotel took care of for my girlfriend and me! High marks for the front desk and restaurant staff, definitely went above and beyond making this such a memorable stay! Thank you all!
We got upgraded to a mountain view room with balcony and stayed here a whole week of Christmas. Rooms are spacious, quiet, clean with an amazing beds/sheets/pillows and delicious coffee. Front desk employees made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay! ?
We had a great experience at this hotel. Thanks to the winds that cut power to our house & shop, we stopped by. They let us check in early and had a room for us for Friday & Saturday. We met 1/2 of Evergreen & quite a few of our clients that were staying there! The prices were GREAT!!! Thank you again for everything! Great place!!
?If you are a Marriott Bonvoy customer looking for a Denver standard Marriott hotel, this is the place! Clean newly renovated rooms, the best workout room, great shops, food services, and Bonvoy lounge. I want to call out one of the best employees who made sure we had the best stay possible with our accommodation and service. Her name is Natashia. Make sure to say hello! exceptional. On a side note my wife left her toiletry bag in the room. Even before she realized it was missing we got an email from Terrell the Loss Prevention Supervior letting us know they have it safe and would like to ship it back to us! Exceptional!
