The Inverness Denver offers a beautiful resort setting with golf and spa facilities, and consistently receives positive feedback regarding its location and spacious rooms. However, recent reviews highlight recurring issues with room maintenance, inconsistent service levels, and concerns about the on-site dining options and value for money.

My experience at this Hilton was very mixed. The grounds were beautiful and the staff good but the rooms were outdated and I happened to get a room where the AC wasn't working well. I called and asked for the technician. When they arrived, they informed me that I got one of the rooms where the fan wasn't blowing well. It seemed to be a known issue but the technician said they keep selling out the hotel so they didn't have time to fix this issue. To be fair, they did offer to find me a new room, but since I was checking out the next morning and I would have to pack my stuff, it didn't make much sense. So I had to suffer through another night in a hot hotel room. As a long time Hilton Honors member, I expected more and was disappointed. I hope management takes time to update the hotel rooms so guests are more comfortable.

What a great hotel!! It's very nice, lots of options for dining and drinks. The lobby is huge and very welcoming with lots of space to gather and socialize. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable with great bedding. The bathrooms are spacious and have nice amenities. The neighborhood is very safe and walkable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

I do like how there's a restaurant I like how it has an amazing place to work out in a spa. But if you're doing much in Denver is it is about 20 minutes south to go do anything in Denver downtown. But that also means it's very clean and no key cards for the elevators. It does seem to be a little bit older and might need a little bit of an update I'm looking at it from the outside. The rooms are nice but if you're not close to the elevator you can be really really far from the elevator. I don't think I've stayed in a place that was this long before.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay here was extremely disappointing and far below what I would expect from a Hilton property. There were multiple maintenance issues in the room. The balcony door repeatedly got stuck, the sink had no warm temperature setting, and the light on the small bathroom mirror did not work. There was also no microwave in the room, only one located in the lobby, which unfortunately was dirty. The breakfast experience was also very frustrating. The menu was extremely limited, offering only sausage or bacon with no ham option. I was charged extra for bacon, which arrived undercooked. Later when I ordered a burger medium well, it came out extremely overcooked. I also noticed black particles floating in my apple juice, which was concerning. Additionally, the silverware at breakfast looked dirty and unpolished, and one of the forks was bending while being used. Another disappointment was the hot tub, which was not warm at all. I also dressed up expecting to attend a buffet that the hotel advertised, only to be told it did not exist, leaving me to order food elsewhere. Customer service unfortunately added to the negative experience, as several employees responded in a passive aggressive manner when concerns were raised. However, there were a few individuals who stood out in a positive way. David in guest services was incredibly helpful, even at 2 AM when we needed something as simple as pads and a lighter. His willingness to help did not go unnoticed. The employee working at the mini coffee shop was also very kind, and the hot chocolate she made was excellent. To give credit where it’s due, the Colorado views were absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the scenery. While the view was stunning, the stay itself was not something I would recommend.

You guys please don’t stay at this hotel if you are visiting Denver area in Colorado. I’m just Gonna go down the list of everything that was wrong and allow you to make your own decision but I’m also giving you a warning. I stayed from Monday to Sunday I looked forward to eating at this grand Sunday buffet that I read about online and also on a flyer that was in the room. No buffet so I’m already disappointed I sat down anyways to eat. I ordered orange juice to start i kid you not there was at least 3-4 random things floating around in my orange juice. I had to request plastic silverware because there was leftover food stuck on my silverware from the previous person. The day before that I got up to go use the indoor pool specifically the Jacuzzi, only to be disappointed that the Jacuzzi was not anywhere near hot, just as cold as the pool if not colder. I spent $40 on room service just to get an overcooked burger, some dry fries and they called my room back to let me know that they didn’t have the dessert that I wanted, but it was displayed on the menu. So that was another big disappointment. The balcony door was so hard to open, I paid extra for the amenities and ended up struggling more because of them. I could go on and on, I think Colorado is absolutely beautiful, but whatever you do do not stay at the Inverness. I’m disappointed in it being a Hilton property because other Hilton properties that I’ve stayed at have been exceptional.

Husband's company had a cocktail hour, dinner party and awards banquet here and got rooms for everyone. It was so nice! Live classical music in a dimly lit bar area, the large event rooms were setup beautifully. The hotel itself is Hilton all the way! Luxury, quality, exactly what you'd expect from a Hilton. This resort had a great spa as well. The pillows, I have to say, were PERFECT. And such nice bathroom amenities. Gorgeous marble and modern luxe finishing touches. We ordered room service which came quickly, hot and delicious. Their Mac and cheese was incredible! I definitely recommend this particular hotel resort to those traveling or needing a stay-cation like us!

Very nice hotel accommodations and excellent options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room I was in was nice but could do with a little update. Clean and staff are very helpful and polite.

I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel back in August. My friend and I fell very ill after our first day there. I ended up going to urgent care and hospital 3 times. My tests came back positive for salmonella. We dined at the brewery and I had the burger and tater tots. Because of this food poisoning, I missed the concert at red rocks that I flew across the country to attend, and also missed the second part of my trip for my uncles funeral. I was extremely ill for over 2 weeks and missed about a week of work. After following up with management, I was barely comped one night. I have followed up 4x since then with no response. Please beware of this hotel and do not trust ANY food there. Only bright spot there is the golf and spa departments.

I guess all you need to be a 4 star resort is amenities because the actual service and rooms are terrible. No microwave in your room and while staying on Christmas day we were told they have in-room dining by the front desk yet when trying to order food we were sent to voicemail. Called the front desk was told they contacted the manager and we would get a call back in 5 minutes but never got a call back. Had to eat Burger King because it was the only place open on Christmas day. I'll NEVER stay at a Hilton hotel again!

I give “Rooms” a one star because: On the evening of November 27, 2025 I came back to the hotel room tired, after a long day. As I peeled back the bed sheet, I found what appeared to be a “booger” or dried blood on the sheet. I had already put on my pajamas and was ready for bed when I found it. I called the front desk. They sent someone to replace the sheet. It was a disgusting experience. Also, that morning I had gone to the dining room for breakfast, but was directed to the lower bar area and told that the restaurant was being used for a brunch. As the hostess seated me in the bar area, I noticed the table was dusty dirty. I saw a hair on the table. The hostess cleaned the table for me, but that did not help much what was an unpleasant dining experience. Everything appeared to have been set up in a hurry—-the entrees, drink area etc. it was insulting to be shoved off into the bar when I’d had a pleasant mean in the restaurant the morning before. When I checked out on the morning of November 28 I complained to the front desk “supervisor”. She referred me to Mr. Aaron Bjorik. I called him several times but he never answered. I left two detailed voicemails about what I experienced. To this day he has never responded. Apparently, he didn’t care. I have attached a picture of the “booger”.
