The Inverness Denver Resort consistently receives positive feedback for its luxurious amenities, including a great spa and beautifully decorated event spaces. However, recent reviews highlight significant concerns regarding inconsistent service, food safety issues, and room maintenance, particularly regarding cleanliness and outdated features. Value is a mixed bag, with some appreciating the location and facilities but finding prices inflated for certain offerings.
Husband's company had a cocktail hour, dinner party and awards banquet here and got rooms for everyone. It was so nice! Live classical music in a dimly lit bar area, the large event rooms were setup beautifully. The hotel itself is Hilton all the way! Luxury, quality, exactly what you'd expect from a Hilton. This resort had a great spa as well. The pillows, I have to say, were PERFECT. And such nice bathroom amenities. Gorgeous marble and modern luxe finishing touches. We ordered room service which came quickly, hot and delicious. Their Mac and cheese was incredible! I definitely recommend this particular hotel resort to those traveling or needing a stay-cation like us!
Very nice hotel accommodations and excellent options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room I was in was nice but could do with a little update. Clean and staff are very helpful and polite.
I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel back in August. My friend and I fell very ill after our first day there. I ended up going to urgent care and hospital 3 times. My tests came back positive for salmonella. We dined at the brewery and I had the burger and tater tots. Because of this food poisoning, I missed the concert at red rocks that I flew across the country to attend, and also missed the second part of my trip for my uncles funeral. I was extremely ill for over 2 weeks and missed about a week of work. After following up with management, I was barely comped one night. I have followed up 4x since then with no response. Please beware of this hotel and do not trust ANY food there. Only bright spot there is the golf and spa departments.
I guess all you need to be a 4 star resort is amenities because the actual service and rooms are terrible. No microwave in your room and while staying on Christmas day we were told they have in-room dining by the front desk yet when trying to order food we were sent to voicemail. Called the front desk was told they contacted the manager and we would get a call back in 5 minutes but never got a call back. Had to eat Burger King because it was the only place open on Christmas day. I'll NEVER stay at a Hilton hotel again!
I give “Rooms” a one star because: On the evening of November 27, 2025 I came back to the hotel room tired, after a long day. As I peeled back the bed sheet, I found what appeared to be a “booger” or dried blood on the sheet. I had already put on my pajamas and was ready for bed when I found it. I called the front desk. They sent someone to replace the sheet. It was a disgusting experience. Also, that morning I had gone to the dining room for breakfast, but was directed to the lower bar area and told that the restaurant was being used for a brunch. As the hostess seated me in the bar area, I noticed the table was dusty dirty. I saw a hair on the table. The hostess cleaned the table for me, but that did not help much what was an unpleasant dining experience. Everything appeared to have been set up in a hurry—-the entrees, drink area etc. it was insulting to be shoved off into the bar when I’d had a pleasant mean in the restaurant the morning before. When I checked out on the morning of November 28 I complained to the front desk “supervisor”. She referred me to Mr. Aaron Bjorik. I called him several times but he never answered. I left two detailed voicemails about what I experienced. To this day he has never responded. Apparently, he didn’t care. I have attached a picture of the “booger”.
Could not eat or take medicine for 8 hours because there is no complimentary water on site other than bathroom faucet water. Market and mini fridge prices are outrageous (it was over 50 dollars for two snacks and two bottles of water). No one stationed at coffee shop so i could not ask them for water there. No complimentary water dispenser in the lobby. So I waited to take medicine and eat until they served dinner at the wedding I was attending the same day. Staff was overall ok, some didn't know what they were doing and others seemed experienced and were very nice. Valet was prompt. As far as the actual building, upper floors the ceiling was like...slanted? and close to the ground. It felt so odd and cramped coming down the catwalk off the elevator. Room was alright. Beds clean and there was a mini fridge. Shower is only stand up with very dirty grout. Closet was small, ramshackle, with a stubborn wooden panel door that creaked when I finally got it open. There was a cheaper hotel nearby I stayed in the first night was MUCH more spacious, had continental breakfast and was a way better experience. Here you are paying more for the onsite restaurant and it being a venue destination. Expected more for the price. For that reason I would call it "OK" or "Acceptable" but wouldn't recommend.
Of course this is a beautiful hotel, but what made this a 5 star experience were the staff. Danielle ( Evening supervisor), Ruth (Spa Manager) truly cared for me as a person, a human being. I came for a very personal reason and these ladies saw me as a person and not just a guest! This was HUGE for me and I know it will be huge for any guest coming to be recognized as human beings. I want to thank these ladies from the bottom of my heart, you made my experience beautiful and I cannot tell you how grateful I am. Hilton- I hope you recognize these ladies because they went over and beyond for little Ole me, which let's me know this is their continuous standard for everyone. Thank you again ladies!
The rooms could’ve used some updating, but the hotel was pretty good. Nice location. The breakfast was pretty good, but the service was lacking. We had to go up and ask for coffee. The restaurant downstairs had decent food and the bar was open late as well. The hotel is technically only 30 minutes from the airport, but Denver traffic has gotten bad. Took us almost 50 minutes. Plan accordingly.
First let me mention, my husband stayed here back in 2018 for work and brought home bed bugs. The hotel told him he couldn’t prove it, but it was obvious. $1200+ to have our home treated. No compensation from this hotel. Worst experience ever. We check the mattresses of every hotel we stay in now. However, he booked this hotel again two weeks ago (7 years later) because he forgot this was the hotel from before. We checked the mattresses and they were clean, but should have complete mattresse covers for sanitation in our opinion. The hotel is nice. The bar is great and the staff are nice. The Sunday brunch is over priced. The Starbucks coffee on site is always a plus. We would stay here again, but will always be cautious of the mattresses!
Very clean. Nice property. Responsive staff for the most part. The bride’s Get Ready Room, a conference room, stayed sweltering despite many (4) requests to turn it down. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. We had a nice time at the little on-site bar getting acquainted before the wedding. And the venue as of the reception area was quite nice.
