Keystone Resort & Conference Center consistently receives positive feedback, particularly regarding its beautiful property, friendly staff, and convenient location. While some guests appreciate the expansive amenities and stunning views, recurring concerns about inconsistent housekeeping, limited shuttle service, and room temperatures during warmer months need attention. Overall, it's a highly-rated resort, but improvements in certain areas could elevate the guest experience.

We come here every year for 3 to 4 months. Every year they have a wonderful spot.Jacuzzi, hot tubs theme room weight room. Staff is super friendly. Very nice. Place is always clean. The maintenance crew are always amazing. The hot tubs go down and they seem to fix it just about instantaneously.

I'm beyond happy to give this resort a five-star rating. The staff was absolutely amazing-professional, kind and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to help me and make sure everything was perfectly prepared before I asked the biggest question of my life to my future wife. Their attention to detail and support made the moment unforgettable. The room was spotless, very comfortable and the view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful. From start to finish the experience exceeded my expectations. I can't thank the staff enough for helping make such a special moment truly perfect. Highly recommend this resort.

Overall, this hotel was well maintained for an older building, and the room and bed were comfortable. However in our two-night stay, we were not expecting the following to ruin our wedding anniversary trip thinking we would have a similar experience to other 4-star hotels we have been to: 1. They refused to clean our room unless we paid an additional $20 just because we spent 2 nights there instead of 3. I guess cleanliness is only a priority if they can make money off of the guest. Mind you this is in addition to the resort fees, parking, & nightly rate we paid per day. 2. The indoor hot tub was closed on a Saturday for cleaning (Saturday is a peak day and not appropriate for this). We planned our day around heading to the hot tub and were only notified of the closure after we got to the spa. 3. The breakfast we had at the hotel restaurant was still partially frozen. We got two different sandwiches with cold meat and egg that was frozen in the center. Pancakes were also burnt on one side. 4. Lukewarm water in the shower throughout our stay at a SKI RESORT in the mountains. Thankfully it was not too cold this past weekend so we survived. I will give kudos that all the staff we encountered were pleasent and welcoming. They could not “go against policy” for some of the above things we brought up, but at least were nice about it. Unfortunately would not be going back to this hotel that charges full price for a 2-star exprience.

This hotel was a rather mixed experience in terms of its offerings. The standard hotel room with a single king size bed was quite large and spacious, unusually so for a standard room. The hotel also backs up to a large natural outdoor ice skating rink which was festive and captured the winter spirit. The skating rink did not make up for the hotel not being ski in and ski out, however. The courtesy shuttle that the hotel offered was nice and would only take 6 minutes or so to get from the hotel to River Run. However, to the request the shuttle, you had to call the front desk and sometimes they tried to push you to the city bus. The city bus would take 30 minutes each time and there often weren’t any seats, which was uncomfortable with skis. We even had to wait 40 minutes for the shuttle one morning because the front desk tried to push us to the bus, which was the wrong line and not going to River Run (we were fortunate my husband checked when we boarded). Another issue is that this hotel only cleans every other day for stays three nights or more and charges $20 a day if you request daily housekeeping. It is a standard practice for 4 star hotels to clean daily and something that should be included in the room price. All together, I would probably consider staying here again for under $300 a night, but do not think it is worth more due to the location and the lack of cleaning service.

At best 3 stars. Booked this hotel to use the touted shuttle to the lifts. Of the 4 times we tried to use them 3 of them they told us to just use the bus as they don’t had time for us as they only have one guy doing lifts. The one time we did use them we waited almost an hour. The room smelled odd. There is black mold above the shower. The shower spits out water horribly. The rooms furniture and doors are all badly chipped. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub. The lady at the front desk was polite and was about the only good thing here. That and the driver who did pick us up the one time was pretty cool. But if you’re looking to use a hotel shuttle to elsewhere because they are understaffing it.

We had a wonderful stay at Keystone Lodge & Spa. The property was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, and the staff truly made the experience special. I brought my little shitzu service dog and everyone loved her. They especially loved that everyday she had a new outfit (dress) on. Richard at the front desk was especially kind and welcoming — he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. He had a smile everyday! Olivia was also very helpful and friendly. The tv will also take a Roku Stick, if you want to use Netflix. But you will more likely need a Roku stick! So bring one of those or get one at the local target near by for $15! Also I did get very hot while sleeping, But I sleep hot, so maintenance came to fix this issue and the maintenance crew were very nice, amazing and friendly! They also arrived within 5 minutes! This place is beyond perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend! Thanks again Rich you were so nice and I will definitely miss your smile and kind words everyday!

I really enjoyed my stay there. The rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped. The resort itself got everything we needed. There is a free shuttle service available to take you to the village nearby. There is a café with good coffee to start your day without having to leave the hotel. Lots of activities to do next to resort or the village nearby. The staff were very nice and helpful giving pointers on what we can do around the area. Overall, it was a really nice stay and I will be back when visiting keystone again.

Beautiful property. Excellent service. Constructive feedback: please get A/C for the rooms. It was so uncomfortable at night and they provide you with a clunky extremely loud box fan. The internet in our room was also very poor and prevented me from doing important work. The shower was also terrible: drain was slow and accumulated while showering, and the shower head was old with weak pressure.

It was great location with dog rooms leading directly outside to a grass area for dogs to use the bathroom. If you want to hike there are plenty of hiking trails next to the hotel. Lake is literally right next to hotel as well with little shops and bars all right there. The cherry on top was the text we got from them to make sure we got home safe from our drive home.
