Service was absolutely amazing, we went for a couples getaway and was just floored by the amazing attention to detail we were given. We would like to definitely mention Kristina, our server was an absolute sweet person and let us us know about all the amenities that were available. When we checked in the front desk did not mention anything. So we were able to golf and hit the spa! Kristina is absolutely the best, thank you for your kindness and attentiveness. Will be back.

Our stay at The Lodge at Flying Horse was an absolute disappointment. For a high-end resort charging luxury prices, we expected a flawless experience, but instead encountered unacceptable room conditions, indifferent management, and a complete lack of basic hospitality. Concrete-hard bed that made sleeping impossible and left us sore the next morning. Bathroom mold covering both the shower stall and the ceiling. Negligent Ignored complaints by management, as not a single manager reached out to apologize or fix the issue. They sent house cleaning as a temporary band-aid rather than addressing the deeper property issues. Unwelcoming ground staff who never said hello, good morning, or acknowledged our presence. Complete indifference from the front line, making us feel like a burden despite being a luxury resort. The two Highlights were the restaurant and the pro shop service they provided the only bright spot of the trip, with attentive and professional dining staff.

We booked the presidential suite not expecting kiddos above us. Spa services ended by 7pm and no online appointments until the following week. Beautiful and spacious room. Elk steak was delicious

Nathan was absolutely fantastic. We came in late for just a few finger foods and drinks and he took exceptional care of us. I would highly recommend stopping at the Fortezza!! Love this place!!

Had a great time here with the family. Kids wanted to spend lots of time in the pool and slides. Also close to many things to do, reasonable price, and room was new and spacious. Room probably could have used a couch or something as it was very large but unfilled. The TV also could pivot and was hard to view, but those 2 things are minor and overall we will be back.

Great stay here my family thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Ate dinner at The Flying Horse Steakhouse and clubhouse. Every dish was amazing! That's not a hyperbole. Nothing to complain about. The service was the best I have ever had at any place in 37 years.

Love this place. So peaceful and serene. The athletic club was a huge bonus especially for my granddaughter who loved the hot tub. It’s definitely a 5 Star place. I travel a lot and was very impressed. I thought about the broad moor but so glad I picked this place instead. Super classy!

An upscale resort hidden in Colorado Springs with great amenities including golf courses, a gym, a spa, and more. The room was spacious and clean. I especially loved the high ceiling and the large balcony, which made the room feel even more open and relaxing. The resort is located inside a gated community, which made the whole property feel very safe and peaceful. This is honestly the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at—no exaggeration. It was incredibly peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Patty at check-in was amazing. She welcomed guests with a warm smile and was very professional and efficient, which made the arrival experience smooth and pleasant. There are just a couple of small things that could be improved. One of the balcony table legs seemed slightly crooked and didn’t feel very sturdy, and one of the power outlets in the room felt a bit loose. Nothing major, but worth mentioning for maintenance. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back.

I took a short wellness vacation, solo, which I highly recommend. I chose the Flying Horse Resort based on the spa and the health club, I truly enjoyed attending a fitness class, the cardio equipment, and the spa treatments were all exceptional. The Fortezza restaurant food was perfect! I enjoyed spoiling myself! I hope to go back again very soon.

I stayed 2/2/2026 rent the “SPA SUITE “with the hot tub jacuzzi Paid almost $200 just to be broken and offer a 10% discount the room I also called before to check if it was available and working the hotel itself is old. The carpets are old. Need slippers Needs so much updating the tiles in the showers were cracking and dirty
