The Fairfield Inn Denver Southwest/Lakewood generally receives positive feedback, particularly highlighting the friendly and helpful staff, including Ashley and Kyeira. While some guests appreciate the convenient location and amenities like the fitness center and breakfast, concerns regarding room cleanliness and outdated facilities have been raised. The property is known for accommodating guests and providing a comfortable stay, but experiences vary.
Ashley provided amazing customer service from the moment I checked in and continued to make my stay at the Fairfield Inn even better. She was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Her positive attitude and attention to detail truly made a difference in my overall experience. Staff members like Ashley are what make guests want to come back. ???
Convenient location near highway and a few minutes down the road from stores. Service was great! Thank you Kyeira! And thank you to the employee who helped us at check in on Sunday whose name unfortunately escapes me it started with an S I believe. They had glasses and short curly hair. Grateful to you both! Breakfast was awesome ? the waffle service station is delicious.
I travel often for work, but had to stay here due to a family emergency. The building itself was quite impressive. Large atrium and lobby for working. Great breakfast amenities and fitness center. But the thing that was better than any Marriott property I've stayed at this year was the people. This staff was the most caring, personable, and kind staff I have witnessed. They remembered us and struck up light conversation. It felt like family and we really needed that. Thanks for giving us the best Marriott experience of the year.
Please don't stay here. The two managers seem like ogres who only care about your money. After I became a Gold member, the first thing they did was belittle me and make me feel guilty about pricing issues. Instead of finding a solution, they just blamed me and never offered one. The breakfast menu never changes, the food is stale, and they open too late for those who work early. There's no access to the rooms via the stairs; you always have to walk past the managers in the elevators. I will contact Marriott Corporate immediately and file a complaint!
Very impressed with this hotel. We ended up changing our dates & they were very accommodating and responsive. About 25 min uber ride into downtown & 15 min to Golden. Perfect place for avoiding noise at night, but still being near restaurants & shopping. Will be back.
I HATE to have to write this type of review because I love Marriott. PROS: - Staff was very accommodating when I booked the room for the for the wrong night and they were able to change it - When I checked in they were able to add another night to my reservation - Staff was friendly overall - Pretty decent location CONS - My original room didn’t have hot water so I had to change rooms - The new room had an old smell to it but that didn’t bother me too much - The new room had bugs in the unit (see photos) The stay wasn’t that extravagant so I ended up just checking out before the morning. 50/50 on if I would stay here again
I am posting 1 star because I stayed here for 4 nights and they charged my card for parking and won’t provide me a receipt because I booked through Expedia. Truly irritating that they charge personal CC but cannot provide a simple receipt. Then she said what’s the big deal about $16.88 charge. Thanks Suzy for your outstanding customer service. Very simple to send me an email with a charge that failed to even mention when I checked in. If it’s not big deal, you should pay my bill then.
Everything about this place was at or above our standards besides the breakfast. But honestly, for a free breakfast, I don't really expect the best anyways. If they did improve on that though, it would be a 5 star. If you're in the area for a concert at Red Rocks, this place is great with options of a mountain view which you can see Red Rocks from at an affordable price range. The staff was friendly to us and offer a snack shop for those last minute needs. Overall a great place to stay in Denver.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this Fairfield Inn was truly disappointing. The rooms were outdated, with worn furniture and a musty smell that made it hard to relax. The bathroom fixtures looked like they hadn’t been updated in decades, and the overall cleanliness was questionable. What made things worse was the rude attitude of the front desk manager, Andrew. When we raised concerns about the room condition, he was dismissive and unhelpful, making us feel like we were inconveniencing him just by asking for basic hospitality. His lack of professionalism set the tone for a very unpleasant stay. I expected better from a Marriott property. Would not recommend this location—there are plenty of other options in Denver that offer better service and comfort.
Update - it is hard to communicate when you don't have the right contact information! Spoke with Shawn the manager this morning, figured out that my phone # was incorrect on their end, and he was able to find the error and fix the payment issue. Staff at the hotel were professional and helpful during our stay and during the issue, and the incorrect phone # explains a lot. Our stay was comfortable (beds, pillows, and AC were all good!), and the breakfast was excellent. There was even oat milk for my coffee, which is rare and much appreciated. Stayed here in a room that I had booked on Expedia and prepaid. Hotel charged my credit card for the night, and has not refunded it. When I call, they would tell me that they are working on it and will call me back. However, no one is calling me back… I have to keep calling. Last time they just put me through to the manager’s voicemail. It has been over two weeks since the mistake.
