The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Denver Southwest/Lakewood offers a generally positive experience, particularly praised for its convenient location near Red Rocks Amphitheater and friendly staff. However, recent reviews highlight inconsistencies in room cleanliness, service quality, and occasional issues with amenities and billing.
Absolute dump of a hotel. Horrible service. Room smelled of vomit. 1 roll.of tp, then they insisted i come pick up a roll, refused to bring it to the room. Sink wouldn't drain. Total dump with terrible staff. Shameful. Great location though.....
Basic motel, comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast. Pricing was great. Very quiet and exceptionally clean. The staff were personable and helpful. Top marks for the motel’s staff. Perfect place to stay if going to Red Rocks Amphitheater
Fairfield in Denver Lakewood is a wonderful property with a modern and well-maintained atmosphere. The facilities are latest, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the overall service was excellent. The location is also great, with plenty of restaurants and food options nearby. We had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Highly recommended
We loved absolutely everything about our stay here! We were in town for a campus visit at Colorado Christian. We got in to town very late after a long and stressful drive but Lucy, who was at the desk when we arrived, was calm and efficient and so friendly, our brief interaction completely fixed my mood. The hotel itself is beautiful, with inviting seating spaces set throughout the hallways and lobby area. The room was large and very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the furniture and decor were elevated and recently updated, and it was so quiet, in spite of being seemingly mostly booked. The pool was heated and the gym was perfect. As much as we travel for sports, we’ve learned to have a backup plan for sub-par hotel breakfasts, but that wasn’t necessary here. There were great, balanced options both days; the breakfast room and dining area were spotless. The location is convenient; a handful of restaurants within walking distance or a few moment’s drive, varying from fast food to counter service to sit-down. We had the pleasure of seeing Lucy again on our second night there and she was once again friendly, helpful, and kind. We (sort of) joked that if our kiddo chooses CCU, we know where we’ll be staying when we come to Lakewood to visit!
The location was good for us, kind of central for our needs. Also close were a Costco, Walmart and several restaurants. The rooms were eh, the service was lacking, breakfast was less than eh, and parking was sometimes difficult. We stayed for an entire week and not once was our room freshened...not once. And never offered at check-in. The price was competitive, the only reason for our stay. Will we stay again, not sure. May look at a Hilton.
We were very disappointed with this hotel. Our room was alternately hot and cold, the ac was very loud, the bathroom door would automatically slam shut, and the pillows were atrocious. The Lobby and rooms were so stark you almost felt like they ran out of money when decorating. There was no complimentary water upon arrival or in the room. Overall, the vibe was cheap.
Ashley provided amazing customer service from the moment I checked in and continued to make my stay at the Fairfield Inn even better. She was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Her positive attitude and attention to detail truly made a difference in my overall experience. Staff members like Ashley are what make guests want to come back. ???
Convenient location near highway and a few minutes down the road from stores. Service was great! Thank you Kyeira! And thank you to the employee who helped us at check in on Sunday whose name unfortunately escapes me it started with an S I believe. They had glasses and short curly hair. Grateful to you both! Breakfast was awesome ? the waffle service station is delicious.
I travel often for work, but had to stay here due to a family emergency. The building itself was quite impressive. Large atrium and lobby for working. Great breakfast amenities and fitness center. But the thing that was better than any Marriott property I've stayed at this year was the people. This staff was the most caring, personable, and kind staff I have witnessed. They remembered us and struck up light conversation. It felt like family and we really needed that. Thanks for giving us the best Marriott experience of the year.
Please don't stay here. The two managers seem like ogres who only care about your money. After I became a Gold member, the first thing they did was belittle me and make me feel guilty about pricing issues. Instead of finding a solution, they just blamed me and never offered one. The breakfast menu never changes, the food is stale, and they open too late for those who work early. There's no access to the rooms via the stairs; you always have to walk past the managers in the elevators. I will contact Marriott Corporate immediately and file a complaint!
