The Hyatt House Denver/Lakewood at Belmar consistently receives positive feedback, praised for its convenient location, free breakfast, and comfortable rooms with kitchenettes. Guests appreciate the friendly staff and proximity to shopping and dining options. However, recent reviews highlight concerns about cleanliness and occasional maintenance issues, particularly regarding room conditions and housekeeping.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt House. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced for everything that came with it! The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Location is awesome, close to shopping and lots of restaurants. We will definitely stay again.
What a great value stay in a prime location. Walk to ANY type of food or drink you desire. Couple of great coffe/ breakfast places, grocery stores are all within a 5 min walk. This place includes a full breakfast from 7-10 with actually good coffee ??! Parking is free. Staff was very nice. The rooms have plenty of floor space and appear to be recently renovated. They do not have have a safe but do have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for those looking to prepare meals, leftovers or just want to keep to themselves. I particularly like the love seat couch and foot rest near the window.
We stayed at Hyatt House Lakewood 4/17/26-4/19/26. We arrived after midnight and parking was a breeze. The building is locked up 24/7 so when we entered the vestibule the clerk buzzed us in. We got checked in with no issues and headed to the room. The room was perfect, clean and modern. There was a fridge, microwave, electric range, dishwasher and wet bar. They had plates and bowls stocked in the cupboards. Bathroom was clean and nice. They offered a complimentary breakfast and it was quite nice with great service. The three days we were there the breakfast slightly changed which was nice. My favorite was the build your own oatmeal station and build your own yogurt station. Plenty of coffee, juice and other beverages available complimentary as well. The lobby has a billiard table that I did enjoy using with my kids. This hotel has a pool and a gym. I did not use either on this trip. I did use the laundry room. At one point I needed an extra key for my room and Lance at the desk helped me. Lance was genuinely one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met. Please recognize him. Another thing I noticed during my stay is that they had a couple of manger offices. When the managers were in the offices the kept their doors open. I thought that was impressive as a guest. I also respect the message that sends to their employees, that they are there and available. One thing to note is that this hotel is in an excellent location and shares a parking lot with a Target store. Very convenient. There are plenty of food options in walking distance. Right across the street is Poke We. The Poke bowls were delicious. We also tried Basil Pho and G-Cue. All were very good and a short walk. We drove to nearby Golden Colorado and it was about 15-20 minutes. Also about the same distance to the Red Rocks Amphitheater. We took an Uber to Coors Field and it was about $18 and 15 minutes away. My 2 boys, my wife and I just really enjoyed this little hotel. If I was to come back I most definitely would stay here without a doubt. Congratulations to the staff for running such a nice hotel. PS I believe they also allow dogs in this hotel. I never heard any dogs but I did see one in the lobby.
An absolutely brilliant stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Denver-Cherry Creek. The facility is well-kept, the staff goes above and beyond, and the location is perfect for getting around Denver. I felt very relaxed and well taken care of.
I stayed here recently due to unforeseen circumstances, at short notice, and Kaitlyn and Penny were both extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service. I had some specific requests that they were able to help me with, and it was a great relief. Very reasonable rate at short notice. As others have said, the location is great, with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, etc. all within walking distance. The hotel itself was very comfortable. Breakfast was a step above the normal hotel continental type breakfast. The room was clean, huge and quiet. I had a corner room on a high floor with beautiful views of the mountains in the distance. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.
I booked a large 2 room suite and when I arrived they said sorry you can't have the room you booked and paid for. They put us in the smallest room type that they have instead. And we still paid for the bigger room! Parking is also very difficult, they share a small lot with the Target store. The rooms were pretty clean, but we did find an ant and a ladybug in our room. My daughter loved finding the ladybug! But our room was half sized of what I paid for, and they didn't care.
Nice hotel in the middle of a bustling area. Parking is kind of tough at night. Not sure if they have rooms with bath tubs. Should have asked for one to give kids a bath. Shower was nice but seems their water heater thermostat is a little wonky since it was cold in the morning. The water was burning hot. Otherwise, the staff were nice and accommodating. The breakfast was pretty okay. It was free.
Stayed here for a few days on a recent visit. Parking was crowded, but the location itself is very walkable with multiple rail establishments and eateries close by. Room was perfect as was the service! The breakfast was perfect and a huge plus since I like to lounge around in the mornings. I appreciated the security of needing a key card to enter the building or use the elevator. Will definately return!
Great atmosphere and clean rooms, sizable fitness center. Although the door handle to the gym was missing I was able to call the front desk to ask for help getting out of the gym. The front desk has a big selection of snacks as well as a hot breakfast. It would be great if they could offer more Gluten-free options.
We recently stayed at Hyatt House and overall had a great experience. We did encounter a few issues during our stay, but Penny, the Operations Supervisor, handled everything exceptionally well — she responded promptly and addressed our concerns with the respective departments, which we truly appreciated. The location is fantastic — about 20 minutes from downtown Denver, 16 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and around 14 minutes from Golden. The convenience couldn’t be better. Target is just a minute away (perfect for last-minute snacks, water, or milk), and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and stores like Nordstrom and Burlington — ideal if you need something quickly or didn’t check the forecast. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you might need. We stayed in a suite — easily the best choice when traveling with kids. The kitchen setup (fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, pots, glasses, utensils, and even sharp knives) made our stay incredibly convenient. Overall, a great location, clean rooms, and a team that genuinely cares about guests. We’d definitely stay here again
