The Sheraton Denver West Hotel receives mixed reviews, primarily due to its dated facilities and ongoing renovations. While some guests praise the location, helpful staff, and clean rooms, others report issues such as mold, peeling paint, malfunctioning amenities, and significant construction noise. Recent reviews suggest the hotel is actively undergoing improvements, but significant problems persist.

The only good thing making this hotel worthwhile is its convenient location to Red Rocks. If you just need a place to crash and plan on spending no time in the hotel, book away. If you're interested in any amenities, like breakfast, polite service, or a quiet and clean stay, look elsewhere. The hotel is outdated, the staff is rude, the rooms lack the basics (like blow dryers and fast wifi), and the furniture highlights were scratched vinyl headboards and stained sheets. Would not stay again.

????? Exceptional Stay at Sheraton — Dorian Made It Perfect I just wrapped up a fantastic stay at the Sheraton and can’t say enough good things. The hotel itself was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location made everything easy. Check-in was smooth, amenities were exactly what I needed, and the whole place had that relaxed, welcoming vibe you hope for when traveling. But what really took this from a great stay to a five-star experience was Dorian. Dorian is a fantastic person and worker — genuinely one of the best hotel staff members I’ve ever interacted with. He was attentive without hovering, knew the answer to every question I had, and went out of his way to make sure my stay was hassle-free. You can tell he takes real pride in his job and actually cares that guests are comfortable. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with that level of warmth and personality. Thanks to Dorian and the rest of the team, I’ll absolutely be back the next time I’m in town. If management is reading this: Dorian is an asset. Recognize him. Highly recommend this Sheraton to anyone — and if you see Dorian, tell him Jim from Nashville says thanks.

This hotel is trash. The staff is rude. They have claimed to be ‘under construction’ for years but the only thing updated is the lobby. The staff is rude. They hallways to the rooms have like caulked ceiling panels everywhere it looks like an old cruise ship hallway. The rooms are run down with a fancy lamp to really make it look nice. Like throwing new rims on a geo metro. Horrible… idk what the requirements are for a 4 star hotel but this is not it.

Lobby was the nicest part of the hotel. The hotel and the rooms are old and dated to say the least. Price was absurd. Over 150 for one night. Breakfast not included. Soaps and conditioner in room was not topped off/empty Hallways look like unlicensed carpenters finished them. It smells and looks gross. Headboard was deteriorated. For this price I expect nicer amenities, furniture and breakfast. We gave it a shot. Never again.

Isn't it weird how your contractors installed a sliding shower door in the direction that requires the guests to climb over the toilet to get in and out? If I managed this hotel I would be contacting them ASAP while there's still a service warranty. Whoever's in charge of the contractors needs to tighten up the ship, this is absolutely unacceptable. Typical "good enough" oversight that reeks of cheap labor.

Great stay. Loved the free coffee it was real coffee and was able to get an americano. Liked the gym nice and big and the pool looks like it will be nice, still in renovations. The head of the bed had some wear and tear to vinyl. Over clean and spacious room and the view was great on the top floor. We liked the food at the restaurant the burger was delicious and it was the best fries I have ever had. We liked the atmosphere and the check in host was very nice.

Last minute work related trip. I booked here since it is the company "preferred" hotel in the area. The front desk staff were very nice. The smell that hit me when I got off the elevator was nasty. Like a dry drain or grease trap. Still a slight smell of it in the room. The room has no privacy/black out curtain, just a sheer. While investigating the curtain situation, I noticed a large piece of tape on a cracked window. Super cool! At least it's not on the first floor. No refrigerator or microwave and the room is definitely older.

I traveled 16 hours to get some rest at the Sheraton Denver West. First off the staff at the front desk are kind and welcoming. The rooms are outdated, not that clean though, the headboards from the beds were super dusty, and the bathroom didn’t even have a door, also no microwave. The BIGGEST issue I have now which is the reason for a 1 star, is because they double charged me and have been giving me the run around for over 2 weeks. I spoke to accounting and billing department and I was told my refund would come in January 26th. I gave it an extra day, & called again, the accounting rep that answered said a Supervisor would get back to me, and no one has. I called again the next day wanting to speak to the hotel manager, manager didn’t pick up the call nor returned my call after I left a Voicemail. No one seems to show any care to resolve the issue nor take the time of day to return my call or emails to give me an update! I am very disappointed, they were quick to charge my card twice! and now their not giving me my refund back! Times are hard now a days, I need MY money back! I do not recommend staying there, because their just not trustworthy to me anymore. I feel let down as a new guest.

Best Hotel in Denver area by far! So beautiful and that’s even before the current remodel underway. Staff is amazing and perfect venue for an event. Had such an amazing holiday party there with A Casino Event providing table games. Heathers banquet team was amazing and so great to work with!

Stayed here for a wedding not far away. They are doing construction on the main entrance, so there is a temp one and no directional way to get in since it’s a one way. Should have signage but there is none. Found multiple screws in the parking lot so be careful of your car tires! The rooms were nice and spacious for a king bed. The floor we were on (10) and a horrible fart/poop smell that lingered and was very unenjoyable. We went down for breakfast and buffet is $21 per person with not a lot of offerings, the server was great tho. Fine place to stay, but could have been better.
