The Table Mountain Inn receives mixed reviews, with some praising its location, friendly staff, and restaurant, while others report significant issues with cleanliness, outdated rooms, unprofessional service, and unresolved billing errors. Valet parking experiences have been inconsistent, with concerns about theft and slow service.
I like to come here often with my friend and or dates. The bartender is ALWAYS in a grumpy mood.. He’s a good multitasker but as far as customer server experience TERRIBLE. Go spend your money elsewhere…
This is more like a motel than a hotel. And for the price, I would definitely look elsewhere unless you absolutely have to stay in Golden. The rooms were old, small, and dated. The food is your typical Tex-Mex, nothing to write home about. I will say the staff was very nice and accommodating it was just a dated "motel".
We stayed at the Table Mountain Inn during the weekend of our daughter's wedding, We shared the hotel with many of our out of town friends and family who we referred there for the event. The groom's parents also hosted a Welcome Dinner the night before the wedding that cost over $8,000. So all told, we dropped a lot of money there. That part of the stay was nice, however, we experienced an unfortunate incident with the valet parking. Shortly after we checked out, we discovered that an envelope containing $700 was missing from our center console. Of course we were shocked because no one had access (the keys) to our vehicle other than the valets at Table Mountain. Upon discovering that the envelope had been pilfered, we called the hotel and spoke to the GM who offered neither reassurances nor apologies. Matter of fact, he told us that the video surveillance in the garage is deleted four or five days after it is recorded, so there was no way for them to verify the incident. We trusted Table Mountain, and they let us down. Read less
The service here was fantastic. We came here late in the evening due to a bad VERBO. They were so accommodating and welcoming to us. The food at the restaurant the morning after was fantastic with great service from the wait staff.
We have had a wonderful stay at the Table Mountain Inn. Upon check in, our reservation was incomplete (through no fault of the staff). The desk clerk, whose name I failed to get (check in the evening of 12/27/2025) was very accommodating and made sure our reservation was properly addressed. We had table service in the cantina, Chris was our server. She was a kind, efficient and accommodating. On the second night of our stay, we had a celebratory dinner in the cantina. Sierra was at our service. She handled our table of 6 with grace and ease. However, not all of the service we received was top notch. Sammy, the front desk, clerk on the evening of 12/28/2025, was unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional. Had it not been for our experience with Sammy, I would have given five stars all around.
Had reservations to the restaurant December 27th around 7pm. Opted for the valet since it was free, expecting no issues. Food was great, restaurant itself was great. But when it came time to get my car back after dinner, I was told my headlights were left on and that my battery was dead. So I’m left waiting outside for them to jump it and bring it down for me, only for them to ask if I had my own jumper cables, after more waiting. Thankfully I did and they had a vehicle for me to jump off of. But what a terrible valet experience. If I didn’t have jumper cables, would I be forced to wait longer for a tow truck guy to jump it? Just very unprofessional overall as they just left the headlight switch on “assumed they would automatically turn off.” Feel like they should have their own jumper box for cases like this, especially when it’s their own fault…
Perfect location to be in downtown Golden. Right across the street from Woody’s Pizza which is a must visit while in Golden. Hospitality was top notch at The Table Mountain Inn. Everyone we came in contact with was accommodating, professional and helpful. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Temperature easily regulated for comfort. Decor fits w the area. The restaurant on site was fabulous!! We made reservations as they get busy for dinner on a weekend. Portions were huge. Delish!! We would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant next time in Golden!!
We booked an event through Table Mountain Inn to secure a room block for our wedding, as they require an event booking to create a room block. We were originally quoted $289 per night for our guests—both verbally and in writing—but it took their team six weeks to provide a room block contract due to staffing changes. By that time, rates had increased by more than $100 per night. Despite having documentation of the original quote, they refused to honor it. Communication was consistently slow and we were asked to resend signed contracts, which seemed unusual given that the hotel should have those on file. After weeks of limited responses and a dismissive attitude toward resolving the issue, we lost confidence in their professionalism. They did eventually refund our deposit, though that process also took several weeks. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend Table Mountain Inn for events or room blocks. The event space feels smaller than photos suggest, and the guest rooms are dated. Wedding event room block
We used Table Mountain Inn as the preferred hotel for our wedding guests. We also hosted our Welcome Event at the hotel the night before our wedding! We had a few different contacts we worked with throughout the year leading up to our big day, but each of them were phenomenal! Judy, Stephanie, Kevin, and Shanequa - all very quick, communicative, kind, and easy to work with. Our guests were raving about the food and the space! We used the Kokopelli room and the adjacent patio. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Our bartender, Kaycee was great, as well as the 2nd bartender (which I don't recall her name) but it was all wonderful!! Highly recommend!
Loved our stay at this property! The history is fascinating and its central location combined with the decent price point for the convenience was awesome. We stayed in the suite which was HUGE and loved the whirlpool tub. Bed was comfy as well. The staff were friendly and super accommodating. If you are in town for a concert at Red Rocks like we were or just in Golden to visit, choose this hotel! You’ll love it too.
