The EVEN Hotel Denver Tech Center offers a generally clean and convenient base for travelers, particularly those seeking a value-oriented stay. Recent guests appreciate the friendly staff and workout amenities, but have noted concerns regarding limited TV channel selection, lack of essential amenities like a mini-fridge and microwave, and inconsistent breakfast quality.
I love the room. It was clean, comfortable and well laid out. There were a couple minor maintenance issues I reported to the front desk, but great stay overall.
The location was not bad, but there’s not much around. My biggest complaint is that when you get back to your room to unwind at the end of the day, sometimes it’s good to just watch TV. But here’s the issue … This hotel has the absolute worst TV channel choices I’ve ever experienced at any hotel. First off there’s only 40 channels. While that might seem like a lot, it’s not considering the channel choices they’ve decided to include. I’d go as far as saying 75% of them are channels you never watch at home. We didn’t have any kids with us, but there are no viable options for kids TV. In this day and age there’s no excuse for there to be such bad choices. Now the breakfast … I did read reviews about how bad the free breakfast is at hotels near here. This place offers breakfast, but be prepared, It’s very limited and expensive. With one person preparing it, it took about 20 minutes and we were the only ones eating breakfast. You also don’t get a whole lot for what you pay for. I had what would equate to a two egg omelette and a little bowl of potato wedges and that is $14. But for that type of breakfast, there’s only about six different menu options you’re going to get. If you’re staying multiple days, you’ll quickly decide to go eat somewhere else on day number two. There’s an IHOP just down the road and that’s where we went. As for the room … There is no microwave and no mini-fridge. So be sure to throw away those expensive doggie bags you brought back to the hotel. One other head scratcher is having half of your room dedicated to in-room yoga workouts. I’m sure this will appeal to about 1 out of every 10 travelers. Because of that there are not any chairs for you to relax in. They have these tiny little square Ottomans, but there’s no way to relax sitting on those tiny things with no backs. So, be prepared to just sit up in bed. It’s not a bad hotel, despite what I just listed out. But it’s definitely a never again for me. All of it could’ve been avoided with just tiny tweaks to make it a little more welcoming since it is a place you’re going to be laying your head after a long day. Maybe they call themselves EVEN because you’ll be left thinking … “Wow they couldn’t EVEN provide (insert amenity here) for their customers.”
Stumbled onto a great rate here. Clean, quiet, and you can't beat the price. Definately recommend. Ellie at the front desk is super friendly and helpful so kudos to her as well. Work out/ yoga in your room and back lit headboards are a nice touch.
I love this hotel. It is always clean, the staff are friendly and beds are comfortable. It is walking distance to work which is super convenient. Rayna was fantastic front desk support for my latest trip and help accommodate my travel needs. Very much appreciated! Every time I travel to Denver for work this is my hotel of choice.
Very clean, secure and nice place overall. Quiet as well. My dog was also welcomed at this lovely establishment. Lovely staff, too. Wonderful setup of room, neat workout equipment. I would give 5 but the king sized bed was so darn hard and lumpy, it was extremely difficult to sleep. Sleep is super important to me, hence the rating. I was there for 2 nights and both nights it was a comfort level of difficulty sleeping.
I recently stayed at your Even Hotel on 10/14/25, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. Upon checking in, I noticed some stains on the bedding, including what appeared to be blood on one of the pillowcases. Although the hotel clerk was prompt in providing a new pillowcase, it was still quite unsettling. The real disappointment came with the restaurant and bar experience. I frequently travel and prefer to stay at IHG hotels that have dining options, as it makes my trips more convenient. After a long 10-hour travel day, I was looking forward to relaxing at the bar/restaurant, which opened at 5 PM. I left my room at 5:30 PM, only to find the bartender sitting at the end of the bar, enjoying dinner with her significant other—30 minutes into her shift. As if she were a guest and not an employee… When she finally approached me, it felt aggressive as she immediately asked for my order without providing a menu or giving me a chance to sit down. It was clear that she was eager to get back to her dinner rather than provide any hospitality. I decided it was best not to disturb her and opted to go elsewhere for food instead. She also made a point of laughing and cracking jokes with her man as I left. This experience left me shocked at how low the standards of hospitality can be. It was very unpleasant. F-
Friendly staff offered us a warm welcome. Speedy check-in & a good tip for a nice breakfast place. The room was spacious and clean. I love it, that there is a wooden floor and no carpet. The shower seemed to be brand new - with a overhead shower head & an adjustable shower head: great! In the room you even have workout gear (no joke!) for a small fitness workout. How cool and funny is that?! In the lobby you have 3 different flavored water - meaning: Real fruit inside which gives it a nice taste. We payed 97 USD which gives an overall great value for money!
