We really enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Lodge Telluride. We had a Junior Suite with a great view. The suite was very clean and roomy. There was a nearby market where we bought some food and used the microwave. Our refrigerator came with an automatic ice maker which was wonderful as we tend to use lots of ice! Very close to the free gondola ride which you can take to downtown Telluride. This was very convenient. The staff were very pleasant. Check in and check out was quick and easy. We thought the valet parking fees were a bit high. Other than that, no complaints.

Wow. I mean every aspect from the journey here to the resort itself. Staff. Amazing. Christian took us to our room, unloaded all of our luggage and gave some helpful hints on what to do here as well as the gondolas. Super great place and totally nestled in mountains. Perfect spot for my buddy’s wedding. Thanks Christian for the hospitality!!

Christian helped us get to our room and brought all our luggage in for us! He was so kind and helpful!! Everyone at the lodge was so friendly. Stunning views!! Taking the Gondola back and forth to Telluride made it so fun and convenient!

Baker in the valet was awesome! Was a little worried, staying here and bringing my large truck! He put me right at ease and helped us with our luggage to our room. This place Is breathtakingly beautiful. Definitely would recommend the view and service.

Beautiful property but our stay had some significant issues. Staff attitude was a recurring theme throughout our visit, with most interactions feeling unwelcoming and dismissive. The valet in particular was unhelpful at check-in and the energy carried through the rest of our stay. The one standout was a younger staff member who went above and beyond and was genuinely the only person who made us feel welcome. We were also not informed prior to booking that the rooms have no air conditioning, which would have factored into our decision. Beyond that, we had an ADA compliance issue at the front desk that should not happen at any property. When we asked to speak with a manager at checkout, we were told none would be available for hours. For the price point and reputation of this property, the experience fell well short of expectations. Hopefully an isolated experience but worth sharing.

Never had a mandatory valet leave my vehicle about 500’ up a hill from me. It’s parked closer to my room than where they leave it for you. Microwave and fridge in room but no silverware to even eat leftovers. No cups. Not even a stir stick for coffees. This place needs a manager with some experience and thoughtfulness.

I had a very disappointing experience at Mountain Lodge Telluride. While the location itself has potential, the overall stay fell far short of expectations. The staff came across as rude and unhelpful at times, which made the experience even more frustrating. Customer service is such a big part of any stay, and unfortunately, it felt lacking here. The property also did not match what was advertised. It appeared poorly maintained, especially when it came to the pool and hot tub area. The hot tub, in particular, was not clean, and after using it, I developed an allergic reaction across my body. That was not only uncomfortable but also concerning from a health and safety standpoint. Overall, this was one of the worst stays I’ve had. Between the condition of the facilities and the service, it was a major letdown. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Our stay at Mountain Lodge Telluride was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The hospitality truly stood out—every staff member was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our experience special. The property itself is magical. The views are breathtaking, with stunning mountain scenery in every direction. Waking up to that landscape each day was unforgettable. The food was also fantastic—everything we had was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. One of the biggest highlights was the convenience. The ski-in access made our trip seamless and stress-free, and the free gondola made it incredibly easy to get to and from downtown Telluride. Exploring downtown was such a great experience—charming, lively, and full of character. Overall, Mountain Lodge Telluride was a combination of comfort, location, and unforgettable atmosphere. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back!

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at this mountain resort, and from a location standpoint, it is top notch. Close to everything. Just a few minutes from the village, near the market, and with views that are simply unbeatable. The property itself is well maintained, rooms are small but quaint, and very comfortable. The pool area and hot tubs are perfect especially after a long day on the mountain. What truly stood out, though, was the customer service. From the moment we walked in, Cami, Paula, and Lyell at the front desk were outstanding throughout our entire stay. Always smiling, always attentive, and always willing to help. We also had a few rides with Angel and Miguel, and Alejandro from housekeeping was equally impressive. Every single person we interacted with made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. I travel a lot, and it is rare to see this level of consistency across an entire team. They go above and beyond, and they truly make you feel like you are on vacation. That, to me, is what hospitality is all about. The pricing was very reasonable considering the location and quality. And the on call shuttle that will pick you up anywhere in the village at any time is a huge bonus. That alone adds so much convenience. For our first Telluride experience, this place set the bar high. Hands down, I would stay here again. Definitely a repeat.
