The Courtyard Boulder Broomfield generally receives positive feedback, particularly highlighting its helpful staff, convenient location, and comfortable rooms. However, recent reviews reveal significant operational issues including reservation problems, unexpected fees, and unresponsive management, leading to a highly inconsistent guest experience.
Priscilla was absolutely wonderful and accommodating after my long travel! My room didn’t have a bath tub which was extra important to me and she switched my rooms in a matter of seconds! Helpful with a smile and works great under pressure(the tvs were out the night I arrived also) between that and the air not cooling the room enough to my liking I gave the room four stars but everything else was absolutely great and loved my stay!
The free breakfast is a free breakfast to order, not a continental breakfast. Slightly disappointing for someone who really appreciates a healthy breakfast in the morning. Also takes a long time to place an order and grab food.
Amazing staff, clean facilities and great location. Staff upgraded us when we told them that we were celebrating our anniversary. Breakfast was fast and great as well
Stayed here for one night. Front desk was very welcoming but having problems with the computer system causing check in to take 15 min per person. Was offered complimentary water bottle in return. Rooms were clean and sanitary. Enough towels were provided and mattresses were comfortable. Elevator was slow. Overall a good stay
The location was very convenient, but I was disappointed in the rooms. They are oddly laid out, and this is by far the most uncomfortable bed that I've had in a Marriott in a long time. The service at the front desk was fantastic however, and the lobby was nice, though I didn't use any of the amenities down there on this trip. There were several very worn and broken parts of the hotel, such as the elevator panel downstairs that appeared to be ready to fall out of the wall.
The location was superb as well as being easily accessible. The staff helped with our stay as we ended up in a blizzard on our way home. The rooms are cozy though the walls were somewhat thin. Overall it was a great stay and we’ll definitely be staying here when we come back to town!
Our hockey team stayed here for a tournament. Probably has the best overall layout with the lobby having little nook TV areas where the kids could hang out as teams without overwhelming the entire lobby. And free nachos when you walk in the door..... money!!!
I had a deeply disappointing experience with this hotel. I made a reservation, but the night before my arrival I had an unexpected family emergency. Because of that, I wasn’t able to provide the required 24-hour cancellation notice. I was even happy to reschedule my reservation, but they said no. While I fully understand that policies exist for a reason, I was hoping for at least a bit of understanding and compassion given the circumstances. Emergencies aren’t planned, and it would have meant a lot (and provided them with a repeat customer) if the staff had shown some flexibility or basic empathy. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I HIGHLY suggest not booking here, the staff are robots and have no compassion for its customers.
DO NOT BOOK HERE. OPERATED BY COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE FROM MANAGEMENT DOWN. I reserved a room for a client and the representative assured me the reservation was secured. No confirmation email or code was ever provided. My client, exhausted and caring for her children, arrived at 3:45 AM only to be marked as a no-show--despite arriving before the supposed 4:00 AM system turnover. She was turned away multiple times, falsely told no rooms were available, and received no apology or assistance. The lack of communication and compassion was appalling. When I spoke with the manager, Brianna, she was dismissive and accusatory, insinuating that I was lying on my part and falsely claiming my client arrived after 4:00 AM. She should be ashamed of how she handled this situation and should not be removed from her management position. Not to mention the front desk staff gentleman appeared to be high on some sort of drug and couldn't communicate effectively to my client at all about the reservation. Marriott compounded the issue by mishandling my complaint, sending it to the wrong management team and failing to direct it back to the correct hotel. This experience reflects systemic INCOMPETENCE and a complete failure of basic hospitality.
This hotel was a pleasant upgrade to another hotel I was staying in Louisville. The rooms were especially comfortable, and made for a very special time visiting my old "neighborhood". I liked the close proximity to restaurants and shopping, plus easy access to hywy 36 and Denver International Airport.
