Our USAFA Colorado Parents’ Club recently hosted a Board Member Meet & Greet at Polaris Aviator Lounge, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Reyna Burns was exceptional to work with. She was professional, responsive, organized, and made the planning process incredibly easy. Every detail was handled with care, allowing us to focus on our guests instead of logistics. The venue was welcoming, beautifully maintained, and provided the perfect atmosphere for our board members to connect and collaborate. The location and newness of this hotel are wonderful. It has an unobstructed and up close view of the mountains to the west. The entire hotel is beautifully appointed with mid-century modern style furniture that pays appropriate tribute to the heyday of aviation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and again very well decorated. Unfortunately the black out curtain is not able to close all the way. It’s no concern for privacy but definitely lets in plenty of daylight for a light sleeper. Where the stay fell short was the details: the constant playing of high energy, pop music in all public spaces (especially early morning on the patio) distracts and detracts from the otherwise peaceful and relaxing space they’ve worked so hard to create and interferes with truly indulging in the natural beauty offered by the patio. The patio was still littered with glasses and remnants from late night revelers at 7 am. There is no complimentary coffee in the lobby, something one typically finds at any other hotel of this caliber. You can make it in your room (if you’re not trying to let your spouse sleep in) or buy it in the lobby. When we went to the rooftop bar there is a “wait to be seated” sign up front but no one attending the host/hostess station. We waited for 5 min then awkwardly made our way to the bar, waited awhile to be acknowledged and eventually navigated our way outside. None of these complaints ruined our stay or our time together, but they were noticeable in contrast to the impressively beautiful hotel and its grounds. If I were the manager I’d want to be made aware of these details. Folks working at the hotel and its restaurants were generally nice and pleasant but the training on attentiveness is slightly lacking for a place of this caliber.

My mom and I traveled with our twin toddlers and we had a GREAT staycation! It was nice to have so many options on-site from the casual restaurant that's perfect for kids and Pamela's for breakfast. They loved the pool and the lawn area to run around! It's not easy traveling with kids and you made it enjoyable! Thanks!!! The welcome amenity was amazing!!! Staying at Hotel Polaris was an excellent decision. It was such a comfortable place to be. From the pool and terrace restaurant to the front desk, the level of customer service felt top-tier. We also thoroughly enjoyed our room service, from the main courses to the desserts—everything was absolutely satisfying. Surprisingly, despite being near the military base, the location was incredibly convenient. I loved that everything was just a short drive away.

Our stay at Hotel Polaris started off a little rough with our room, and we were honestly a bit disappointed. We also stopped by the downstairs bar and waited quite a while 3 different times without ever being greeted, which wasn’t the best first impression. Thankfully, everything changed when we went up to the Aviator Bar. From the moment we walked in, Perla welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt valued. She truly treated us like royalty! We also had the pleasure of meeting Deon and Ken, These two were amazing as well. Ken was so outgoing and great to talk to, you can catch him on the YouTube video for this hotel that talks about it. That’s how we knew him when we saw him. Deon was just full of absolute energy and a positive attitude that was amazing. He gave us some many places to check out during our stay and shared many spots that we went to see that were amazing. The rest of the crew, let me just tell you that the personable conversations were so amazing with the crew, from Emily, Audrey, Skylar, Carlos and Isabella. I thank all of these individuals for sharing all of there stories and family stories and history with us. The service was exceptional, the food was fantastic, Tuna nachos and sushi amazing and the atmosphere was second to none. The conversations, hospitality, and genuine care from the staff completely turned our experience around and made our stay memorable. It’s employees like Perla, Ken, Deon, and the entire Aviator Bar team who make guests want to come back. Thank you all for reminding us what true hospitality looks like! Danielle at the front desk was amazing! She was so helpful and informative. Really helped to make my stay the best possible. Rooms are great; lounges and restaurants are terrific; conference rooms are convenient; the customer service is excellent. Will definitely be back!

Incredible stay at the new Hotel Polaris- one of the best hotel experiences/stays we’ve ever had. Everyone on staff was wonderful and the attention to detail in the hotel is amazing and unique. Don’t miss out on a beautiful,comfortable, unique stay at the Polaris. The views, the rooms, the pool, the food, 5 restaurant options- truly one of a kind! Make sure and visit the brand new Airforce Academy visitors center directly next door- it was an amazing experience!

This place… I do not have enough space! The staff were outstanding and really accommodating and provided more than enough service! The coffee shop was great and delicious and the bar “Pamela’s” topped it off!! Jack our bartender and was outstanding and very friendly! We came in with 5 mins till close and he was more than happy to serve us! Made our trip that much more memorable for us!

This is a tough review as there are many aspects of the hotel I enjoyed and were done right. Unfortunately there are some that were not so good and led me to give 4 rather than 5 stars. The rooms are nice and very clean which is the most important factor. Beds are firm but I like that. Front desk staff and virtually everyone we interacted with was very nice. Pool area isn't huge but certainly adequate and the view is insane. Now for the not so good. The main restaurant is just bad. Food was extremely disappointing and due to the hotels location being on the outskirts of the city it isn't easy to go out to eat. I'd actually reconsider a future stay because the food was that bad. The other outlets just seemed under staffed as well. The poor woman at the cafe was on her own, doing her absolute best, but it was hard watching countless managers walk around and she is run off her feet. Obviously if you are going to the Air Force Academy for something it's a no brainer and it is certainly a solid option overall but I hope they can do something about the food and bev and give the cafe some more staff in the morning hours!

I recently stayed at Hotel Polaris and overall had a positive experience. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with a modern, clean design that really stands out. You can tell a lot of thought went into the aesthetics and overall feel of the space. The yard games for the kiddos was awesome. The amenities are well organized, and I appreciated the convenience of the kiosks and text updates that provide information about the hotel and what is available during your stay. That said, the one area that could use improvement is the front desk experience. The staff did not come across as very welcoming or inviting, and it would have been nice to receive a bit more guidance or a warm introduction to the property, especially given how many amenities there are to enjoy. Overall, it is a lovely hotel with great potential, and with a more personable and engaging front desk experience, it would easily elevate the stay even more.
