So first off the front desk Drew here won't let me in to the room that we paid for even though the person who has booked the room has called and allowed us in. The people who work at their higher up for Hilton honors has asked them to let me in and they refused. And now that the system's down, they're doing one person at a time by hand even though they have like five people working at the front desk and the manager is just watching over his employees shoulders. And what is their solution? to hand out cookies? There are 50 people out the door waiting to get a room. Very disappointed in the management of this place. Problem solving is not only non-existent they are actually making the process longer and more difficult

They charge $20 per day for parking. The first room we were given had a broken shower. No water due to a broken faucet. The second room we were given had a loud ac unit and would barely cool the room. The iron was broken. There was a big spider in the shower. The bartender was clueless and was out of most everything on the menu. Not up to Hilton standards and much better hotels next door for the same or better price.

We were visiting my daughter who lives in the DTC and stayed here for 4 nights. Checking in was easy and the gentleman at the front desk was nice. Our room was clean. I've stayed at HGI in other locations and this was the first time we had to pay to park and if you wanted breakfast, you had to pay for it ($10 and up per person). The parking fee was $86. The first night while sleeping, we started smelling a nasty sewer smell. It was still there when we got up and made you gag to go near the bathroom. We informed the front desk and they said they were aware of it as others had complained as well and they were working on it. We had to use the bathroom near the exercise room to avoid the smell. The smell was in the lobby area as well. The next night we still had the smell. You could smell it still in the lobby. I went to the lady at the front desk and told her that it was unacceptable to keep making us stay in a room with that may smell since they apparently didn't get it fixed. She said she didn't smell anything but when I came back to the desk, she said yes, she could smell it. We were then offered another room (Why didn't they offer it after the first night?). When we were moving to the new room, another guest in the elevator asked what that may smell was. We told her. She said some of her group had been moved to higher floors due to the bay smell. We were in our new room and the fire alarm went off. My husband asked housekeeping what was going on but they didn't respond, they just took off and left their carts. We hurried to the stairs and started heading down 4 flights (my husband is handicapped and wears a leg brace on both legs so it was difficult for him). Others were heading down the stairs with us. One lady was in the shower when it went off so she grabbed clothes and ran. When we got to the bottom, a lady came outside and told us it was a fire alarm test. She said they were putting notes under the doors. There was no now under our door. We told the lady that they need to warn people when doing a test because some elderly people have heart conditions. When we were allowed back in, we went to the room and they called the room and said they were doing another short test. With all that we had to go through, we probably will never stay here again even though it is close to my daughter.

My experience was delightful from start to finish! The entire staff was friendly, professional and accommodating and the rooms were clean and beautiful. I can't say enough great things about this hotel! I will definitely be staying here the next time I travel to Denver.

We stayed at this location and the front desk staff could not have been nicer and helpful. They were wonderful. The rooms are all very nice and updated as well as the lobby. The location is GREAT if you have things to do in and around the Denver area. We enjoyed our stay at this Hilton property.
