Manor Vail Lodge boasts a prime location directly across from the Golden Peak ski lifts, offering a convenient ski-in experience. While the property features gorgeous, spacious accommodations with excellent amenities and above-and-beyond service, there is an isolated negative report regarding cleanliness and management conduct from a 2026 review.

This property is gorgeous. Everything about our studio and all the common areas looked like they were built yesterday -- meticulously maintained. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's literally a 3-minute walk from the lobby to the Golden Peak base area and Chair 6 (the Riva Bahn Express), where you'll find your skis waiting for you to start your day on the slopes. And it's a short walk to everything Vail Village has to offer: shopping, dining, and nightlife. You'll find cookies and hot cocoa in the lobby each afternoon. Our studio included a king bed, a double murphy bed, and a double sofa bed -- tons of room for our family -- a convenient "mudroom" bench-and-storage area at the front door, a back patio with a grill, a full kitchen, and double sinks in the bathroom to help us get out the door and onto the lifts quickly each morning. The full hot breakfast -- including made-to-order omelet bar -- filled us up for each day's action. We will definitely return to the Manor Vail Lodge!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment we checked in, the manager was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She pushed an “upgrade” that was never communicated in advance, gave no proper explanation, and took my credit card without clear consent or discussion. The room we were initially given was extremely dirty, with visible stains on the floors, couch, and bed. When we reported this, the manager spoke to us in a condescending and demeaning manner and repeatedly ignored the cleanliness issue, focusing instead on the so-called upgrade. We requested the basic room we originally booked but were told it was unavailable, which made no sense. Only after repeated complaints were we moved to a cleaner room. This entire situation could have been handled easily with basic professionalism and respect. Due to the unacceptable cleanliness and the manager’s behavior, I would strongly advise against staying at this property.

We love Vail anyway, but this place made our trip SO much better. From the moment we walked into the lobby, Jasmine and Sarah elevated our day at the desk. We had the AMEX upgrade deal, and our suite in the 180's was awesome. Considering we were coming in on Thanksgiving, having that awesome room was convenient since not much would be open in town. Our suite had two bathrooms, a reclining sofa (which we will be shopping for at home and was SO relaxing), a murphy bed, really comfortable main bed, a fireplace, and a big patio. Our fireplace had a problem in getting going, but Jacob came immediately and helped us out...on the holiday night. We needed some food, but were over Thanksgiving food for the day, and Amanda and Ben helped us out in Fitz's lounge in getting some mac and cheese off the shown menu. They have two heated pools. The other one had a waterfall feature, but we never really went to that one just because of convenience. We liked ours with two hot tubs of varying levels of heat, and apparently redone in the last year. The steam room was busted during our visit, but they have that and a sauna available, along with a spacious fitness facility that we never used. Their cool ceiling fans are pictured below also...very unique looking ones in each of our rooms. The parking onsite is underground, and I liked it because I didn't have to ask to get something in or out of my car through a valet person. We had an included breakfast, and it was high quality food, and even had an omelette station. The lobby had a great Christmas tree, along with a side room with a piano (which they allowed me to play at night). I love everything about this place, and it was a short walk to Vail Village and anything you needed or wanted to partake in. I highly recommend this place, and see you there next time...

The service was so good I felt a bit embarrassed, like we should have paid more. They are incredibly nice, polite, accommodating and willing to answer questions. Very caring staff

We had an incredible experience at Manor Vail Lodge—every single person we met made our stay feel special. Doug from maintenance was amazing. He spent time chatting with us, made us feel right at home, and promptly fixed all of our light switches. He also let the staff know it was our anniversary, which led to an extra-sweet surprise from Sarah—something we really appreciated. Lori gave us the warmest welcome when we arrived, and Sarah went above and beyond to make the occasion feel special. At the Fritz, Ben was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and great to talk with. Breakfast was another highlight: Billy made us an incredible made-to-order meal and was an awesome server. The location couldn’t be better for visiting the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, skiing, or exploring Vail Village. The bus system makes everything easily accessible without a car. We’re grateful to the whole team for making our trip memorable. Highly recommend staying here.

I had the greatest experience at Vail Manor Lodge this past weekend! Not only did I receive an absolutely gorgeous room upgrade, I also had a wonderful experience with the staff who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The Front Desk Receptionist was OUTSTANDING! She was literally my super hero! I had a wedding reception to attend in Vail and brought a dress that I could not get myself into. I called the reception desk and asked the woman if she could potentially come up to my room and help me lace my corset dress. Within 2 minutes, she was at my door and helped me tie my gown. I was so thankful for this and she was so kind to come and help me. If it wasn't for her, I would've looked very messy in my best friend's wedding pictures. Overall, this was easily the best hotel that I have ever stayed at in Vail and I will now exclusively and only be staying at the Manor Vail Lodge.

Exquisite accommodations. The Front Desk was beyond fantastic - I fell in Love with the House Lotion and inquired about it and how to purchase it. She moved heaven and Earth to procure a bottle for me. When we asked about a location to purchase a small battery to replace the one that began to alarm in our vehicle's key FOB, the search began and before we knew it they found one that matched the unusual size in their Maintenance Department. Completely ABOVE AND BEYOND! The morning breakfasts were superb and the staff consistently checked on us to ensure everything was to our expectations. I'll guarantee this is NOT our last trip to the Manor Vail Lodge! Excellent job and kudos to all.

This place is within 3 mins walk to Golden peak bus stop, right beside the River Bahn lift. The room has a view of the mountain and lift from the living room. You can take bus to visit the vail village or lions head village. You don’t need to wait too long for the shuttle bus. It’s convenient to visit around the vail area. The font desk service lady is super friendly and helpful. Kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary items and ingredients for cooking. Spacious living and family room. All rooms have TV installed. Hot tub and pools right outside the building. Omelette freshly made, hot oatmeal, fruit yogurt and other varieties of breakfast are generously provided.

Everything was just right. Perfectly appointed rooms with excellent bedding and linens. Breakfast was nicely done with omelet stations and beautiful smoked salmon. The staff was very pleasant and eager to accommodate our needs. The restaurant/bar was good, though more casual than the other elements of the lodge. It was okay for drinks and a burger.

I cannot race enough about Manor Vail Lodge. The rooms were fantastic and comfy. The pool area has two hot tubs, so there was usually space to be had after a long day of spring skiing. The free breakfast was always good (I ate there all four days of my stay and was always well pleased). But the best thing is the proximity to the lift. It was so clutch to basically ski out off and then back into the room. The lift was literally across the courtyard from my room. I didn't know that was a thing I needed, but now I never want to go back.
