Beaver Run offers unbeatable ski-in/access proximity to Peak 9 chairlifts and is highly praised for spacious, well-equipped suites perfect for families, though guests consistently note dated infrastructure.
Just stayed six nights and wanted say it was a great experience. Right on the mountain with a ski locker on the ground level in the building, less than 50 yards above the lift line. But 20' from the run so you can ski to the door and easily access your room. BRR assigned me Building 4 room that is probably closest to the mountain. I rented a hotel room and surprised to find a spacious sleeping and shower area, separate toilet room, small galley kitchen with two burner stove, dishwasher, small refrigerator, plenty of cookware and utensils for a party of 3-4 but it was just me solo. The rooms are individually owned condos and rented out by BRR. Adequately furnished with two tvs, one in the bedroom and the other in the living area facing the mountain. I could see the lift running from my window. The resort shuttle was ok but I downloaded the Breck transit app to see the schedule for the free bus shuttle running into town. The resort shuttle has no schedule and runs to infrequently where as the free bus lines yellow and brown run every 10-20 minutes to get you down and back into town all day and night. One big city market with a bus stop in the lot for those who like to make breakfast in their room and avoid eating out in the morning. I did go to the buffet once at the resort, not super extensive in selection but plenty to eat for under $20 and I think it was worth it. Pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, hot/cold cereals and coffee/juices. I grabbed a quick bite in the deli area and that was expensive. A slice of pie and pizza for about $13, pizza tasted good but looked crummy. Bldg 4's hot tub fits 20+ persons and the adjoining pool is warm enough to cool off. Late February 6 nights, average cost per night about $333, well worth it.
We had a nice stay at Beaver Run Resort. The price is great and the staff were lovely! Tiffany the housekeeper was smiling and happy each day and made us feel welcome. She kept the condo so clean! My husband accidentally left his phone in the suite as we left for the airport. We went back and housekeeping had already placed it in lost & found. Very impressed with the honesty & kindness. Note that the hotel is older. The bathrooms & kitchen in our suite could use a renovation as they are very dated & the carpets look dingey. The food on property is much higher quality than expected.
Absolutely amazing! Ski in, Ski out resort. We had a problem with our tv and a 2 min call to the front office had someone in the room fixing the tv within just a few minutes! Restaurants are great! Service is phenomenal! Ski lessons with Michael Picknell were incredibly helpful and fun!
Where do I start? We had such an AMAZING stay at Beaver Run Resort. The room was studio style, very big and clean. The resort has many options to eat at, including a market (grocery store + hot food/drinks) which stays open quite late, ski in ski out, spa, and more… The resort is conveniently located surrounding many stores, gift shops, AND the best part is the resort offers a shuttle which does pick up/drop off. I will recommend this resort to anyone staying in Breckenridge!
Very nice 1 bedroom unit with mini kitchen. Perfect for two adults and 2 kids. Loved that the shower/tub, toilet, and bathroom were all separate spaces which prevented anyone from monopolizing the bathroom. Mini kitchen was perfect for preparing breakfast and lunches, we even made a skillet meal one night. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils and such. Dish soap, sponge and other basic things provided. Loved the ski locker for storing gear. Building 4 was ski in/out. The pool and hot tub were nice for unwinding at the end of the day.
Great stay at Beaver Run Ski Resort! The ski-in/ski-out access is incredibly convenient, especially for families. The rooms were comfortable, amenities were solid, and the location makes it easy to enjoy everything Breckenridge has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!
Stayed here for a five day ski vacation and the location was perfect, rooms were nice, and the staff was helpful and good. I will definitely be coming back. One thing I would complain about is the hot water in the shower literally takes more than ten minutes to get hot and I feel that wastes a lot of water and I don’t like doing that
I had a great experience there. Location is amazing - right next to the Beaver Run Super chair lift on peak 9. Easy walk to Main Street and the hotel offers free shuttles as well if you need a quick trip to city market (the city offers free bus services as well). The room/facility are not the newest but it was very clean and had everything I needed. Room was quite spacious as well and next to the ski lockers. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Breckenridge next time.
Great stay overall. The location is excellent. Easy ski access and walkable to town. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well set up for families. The resort has solid amenities, especially the pools and common areas, which make downtime easy after skiing. Staff was friendly and helpful, check-in was smooth, and everything felt organized. Not ultra-luxury, but very comfortable, practical, and exactly what you want for a Breckenridge ski trip. Would stay here again.
Terrible hotel — not deserving of the “resort” label. I honestly can’t believe this place calls itself a resort. The rooms are in very poor condition. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—the mattress sagged so badly that it felt older than we were. I asked three separate times for a mattress topper. Each time, staff said they would bring one, and each time the request was completely ignored. On top of that, the staff was neither friendly nor helpful. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location right next to the mountain. Even so, next time I go skiing, I would rather pay a little more and stay at an actual resort. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I do not recommend staying here I paid 900 DOLLAR for 2 people for 2 nights. Literally a steal.
